Need Help on an approach

Ok so in my school i see this girl i wanted to talk to, but the only time I really see her is on the bus. So does any body have any good approaches i can use on a bus? Today for a second it looked like she was goin to sit next to me and i was about to say sumpthin like "its ok u can sit here, i dont bite" but it didnt say anything at all becuase i was kinda mad about some stuff that happened in school earlier. But my next problem is that after the opener i wouldnt know what to say next. So can somebody help?

gum, sit behind her and offer her a peice of gum. Then if no one is sitting next to her ask if it is alright if you sit up there. Say something like the anoying kids behind me are getting on my nerves. But try reading the high school bible.
