I'm a mature man, looking to leave my AFC days behind. I have been reading, learning and trying to put into practice the knowledge contained in this website.
I ask for some feedback on this particular situation I'm in from the other mature DJ (more experienced). I've posted about this girl before, and received one reply, but now need feedback/advise.
- She's 19 about a 7.5 physically, but 8.5 personality.
- We have similar ethnic backgrounds, similar interests, blah blah balh. Known each other for about 2 months now.
- Have gone out on 2.5 dates (I'll explain the .5 below). She mentioned having a boyfriend just prior to accepting second date.
- First date went well, second date even better (more romantic), the third (half date...fvk'n flopp). The third "date" was an Art/Music street festival. As she arrived, a guy called, she told him where she is and with whom (me), he decided he was going to join us, she went with it. We had about an hour before the guy arrived, so we explored the festival together. She was aloof and distant. The guy calls her, and says "I'm lost, come find me", she expects me to join her "search and rescue", and I decline. I tell her where we can meet up once she finds him.
They arrive, and my observations begin:
- they're not holding hands, rather holding fingers (know what I mean?) when they arrive. No hand or any affectionate contact between then from that point on.
- guy shakes my hand but looks away ...no EC at all. We don't connect at all, no attempt at convo what's so ever.
- guy walks away (bathroom or something), I talk to her briefly ask "How do you know him?"....she says "blah blah balh, works with me ...blah blah ...he's my bf". Right away I come back with "ooohhh HOW CUUUUTE:...she's shocked.:nervous:
- she belittles him to me ... "He's just a (sweet) little boy" (her words)
- they sit in the stands together, (their body language screams friends, not lovers) she asks me to join them, I decline. I stand on my own, dancing to latin music in place, smiling having a great time.
- She glances at me behind his back to monitor my reactions to the situation. I'm ignoring them, having a great time.
- After an hour, she walks over to me, "bf" right behind her. I tell her "Have him hold your purse, while you and I go dance out rest of this song"...she's shocked :nervous: , considers it, but reluctently declines.
- She announces that she has to go soon, but wants to show him the rest of the festival. She invites me to go with them....I decline....they leave.
No contact between us since then (almost a week)....zero. She would be a wonderfull LTR but circumstances point to a potential short term thing only.
- I'm spinning 2 other plates at this time (begining stages).
I've read Pook's posts on girls with bfs. I have my oppinions, but want to hear from other's first. Let me know what you think.
How long should I wait before contacting her (assuming she does not contact me first?) TIA DJs.
