Need Advice - On Girlfriend helping a brotha out...

What's up...Don Juans,
When is it ok for a girlfriend to help you out?

If she is financially helping you out w/ different things - Is that ok like rent and stuff like that?

If she helps you out w/ an assignment at school or helps you finish a project for your job?

The reason I ask is because we got into a little something and she said that some times I feel if I don't help you w/ certain things-- it doesn't get done.....Should I ban her from helping me w/ things...She is the one that is always like let me help you do this and do that....She told me after our little spat that she was under pressure at work and didn't mean to say what she says...

Background -- Dating for over 2 years...Our relationship is on point...I'm a doc love follower...Theres just little things we need to get together--This didn't become an issue until recently....

was up man, u know my opinion is that its ok for her to help you out financially, but with rent, that to me is a no go, cus she is gonna start to think its her place and she might hold that against you one day. But hey if she wants to do your homework, thats a good woman, or clean your house or even buy u ****, man thats the advantages of having a great woman who is not selfish. So you should take advantage of that man, trust me if you had a girl that was selfish as hell, and never spent a dime on you, you would be like what the hell is goin on u know. So hey go for it man, just be carefull with rent and **** like that.

Well from the sounds of it, it doesn't seem like you really got it that bad. Would you rather have a girl who wants to help you, or a selfish gold digger who will try to drain you for all you're worth?

How often does she do this?

Remember that a man's independence is attractive to a women, she does not want to ultimately feel like she is carrying him.

Without too much detail, I recommend that if you can manage your business try and complete it by yourself.

Also is it you that's asking for assistance?

Make sure you come off as the stronger individual

Let her do things for you like massages, cooking (things which enrich your life) which allows her to continue chasing you as the prize.

Not things which which are necessary for life such as paying YOUR rent or completing YOUR education (unless you are in dire need).
