need advice for TODAY

ill just cut to the chase here. im about to graduate high school with this girl who i really liked for the past 2 years but we NEVER talked to each other or really saw each other. she knows who iam but we dont have the same friends. fortunatley today she will be at a grad party that im going to. however, i dont know what to say to her without seeming awkward since we really never spoke to each other since middle school. just FYI, shes like a 6. there will be MUCH better looking girls there at the party, and i dont think many guys will be intrested in her. but i am because im not shallow and w/e. Anyway, how do you guys think i should approach this?

well, "hi, hows it going" always works... since your graduating you could talk about if/where you and her are going to college or summer plans etc...

Just chat with her. Be as casual as possible. Don't think you have to spark interest or anything. Just talk to her! Keep the conversation light and fun, and flirt with her if you think she's showing interest. Compliment her on her outfit if you want. Try not to worry about it so much. If all goes well you can ask her for her number and say "we should hang out sometime" or something along those lines.

Try not to over think it Just go have fun at her party.

Just before anymore advice is given on this thread, I want to make one point of clarification......

If you have love for a girl that's a 6, more power to you!

But, do not say that all of the guys that go for only 8s, 9s, & 10s are automatically shallow and only care about a chick's looks! ------> That is simply not true!

And when guys go for uglier checks they presume that they are on some kind of moral high-ground since they're "not shallow."
Soon enough, they develop that whole "holier-than-thou" attitude! :cuss:

The only thing that you HAVE TO remember before scoring successfully with her is:
don't overeact, act naturally and HAVE a healthy amount of

You wouldn't have had this problem if you were extremely outgoing and talked to almost every single average-to-good looking chick in your grade.....

Out of curiosity, About how many people were in your Graduating Class?

For you all guys whoe are gonna be Seniors next year (just like me), the way to avoid this potential sticking point would be to become EXTREMELY outgoing and to act ****y & funny towards any female you would even think of fvcking

Look. There is a type of guy that is shallow. So it's not a complete fiction. For the most part though, it's a social illusion to convince you that you are not good enough.

Don't worry about this girl. There are a lot of girls. Just go to the party and have as much fun as you can doing whatever is good for you. The next day she'll either be completely enamored of you or totally disgusted with you, and you know what...who cares? Don't let the fear of what she will think of you to run your life.

Women only respect men that know what they want and don't let themselves be scared out of it.

I haven't read anyone else' replies but.. you say you're not shallow, but you've never spoken to her so you don't know anything about her. All you know is what she looks like unless you're a stalker. Sounds like you've got oneitis.
