I've been having problems at work that I never imagined would be a problem.

While many of the people I work with have had complaints called in against them and been spoken about in negative reguards by the people we serve, people have went out of their way and called in with positive words about me. People who have hated our department with a passion in the past are now saying that we rock all because of me, they think I am the greatest.. Even someone who is manager of another division but not my direct boss stated that "I do too much and go out of my way to help people more than I should be, I nedd to quit doing that."

I know the bottom line; I am setting the bar too high and the people I work with don't like it. There is only one person who I flat out don't get along with, but I know others are starting to get annoyed at the fact that, well, they aren't me.. I know thats the bottom line, period end of story...

But my dilema is this; do I change and knock it down a few knotches and save face with my coworkers, or, do I keep doing what I am doing and making the people happy who really matter, which is the general public..
