I developed a chronic pain in my neck that I think may have been caused by sitting in front of the computer a lot during university working, and not getting enough rest and relaxation. Coupled with this, my poor social skills at the time led me to depression and stress.

I still experience this pain in my neck everyday even though now I am no longer under massive stress and am wondering if anyone has ever gone through this and could give me some pointers as to what I can do to heal myself/cure it.

i've fought this when working at the computer 12+ hours a day, especially when stressed.

- first take a good look at your posture & monitor height. most of us are pretty sloppy with these.

- take frequent breaks -- not just to grab a snack or drink but a real honest to God break doing something completely different.

- carefully pop ibuprofen or naproxen sodium, never more than the recommended dose.

- consider seeking professional help.

Thanks for the input, but when you say professional help do you mean a doctor cause i've gone to those and they recommended me to a physiotherapist who gave me exercises that required way too much will power to stick to and were too easy to forget.

So my question is what kind of professional apart from physios and doctors could help?

well then, you'll probably need to learn to live with the pain. any solution is going to require patience & discipline.

some people swear by homeopathy and/or chiropractors, but I have no experience with either.

hey i couldn't be bothered to create a new thread and this is slightly related to neck pain , so the question I ask is :

does anyone know of any natural remedy or way to prevent tooth cavities from getting worse and stopping the sensitivity and growing back/regenerating tooth enamel?

It doesn't matter how good-looking you are, how romantic you are, how funny you are... or anything else. If she doesn't have something INVESTED in you and the relationship, preferably quite a LOT invested, she'll dump you, without even the slightest hesitation, as soon as someone a little more "interesting" comes along.

I've had neck pain this past week. I've been sleeping on a new matress and bought a new chair with neck support for 2 days now and it's much better.

Im definitely gonna invest in a new chair as soon as i can but anyhow do you or anyone on this site know of any natural remedies for tooth cavities especially if your teeth are just naturally sensitive and susceptible to attack due to inherited genes.

If you want to prevent it just take good care of your teeth by brushing at least 2x a day and using mouthwash and eat healthy. Avoid sugary foods and drinks.

Once you already have a cavity you should really go to the dentist. Seriously, don't keep walking around with it thinking it will go away.

Well essentially i went to the dentist and he says my oral hygiene is perfect and i got some fillings but i still get sensitivity when i take cold food or drinks and two of my teeth hurt immediately they come in contact with sugary foods.

Ive drastically cut down on sugary foods and always make sure to brush after i take any but i still get niggling pain when i take cold stuff. Its not terribly bad like my neck but i would just like to get my teeth handled and prevent any further enamel erosion.

I say its genetic cause my mum has fillings and her teeth respond negatively to sugary stuff at a very quick rate just like mine. This is why im asking anyone who has handled cavities using natural remedies to give me a heads up on what they did.

Cause quite frankly i look after my teeth to diamond standard but still have niggling problems due to not knowing of the effect of fizzy drinks like coke when i was younger.

low carb, alkaline is the closest thing to a "natural cure" for cavities.

When I go low carb, my mouth feels much better and I don't feel the need to brush my teeth multiple times daily.

Same with eating vegetables(alkaline diet). It's acidity from sugars and meats etc. that speed up tooth decay, so limiting sugars and eating acidic meats smartly will help your mouth hygeine. By "eating meats smartly" I mean eat meat with vegetables. Meat is acidic, vegetables are more basic so they help to neutralize the acid and inflammation caused by eating large volumes of meat.

So yeah, eat equal quantities of vegetables as you do red meats, and severely limit or eliminate your consumption of common sugars. Fruits are the exception as far as sugars go because they contain the fibre and vitamins to counteract the trace acidity from the sugars.

cheers

nice point of view , i still wonder though if anyone knows of any substances you can apply on your teeth that would help cause i heard oil of oregano is good but then again i wouldn't know where to find that . But I will definitely take your advice........
