natural ways to get rid of eye-bags

Ok, I have a pretty big bag under my left eye and I don't know what caused it, since the right eye is free. plus, under both eyes there are those black marks that come from lack of sleeping.

1) Out of interest, is it possible to have a bag just under one eye, not both?!

2) Are there natural ways to get rid of that eye bag, and possibly even the circles? I've done many searches but in every thread, it's said "buy this" "buy that" and i can't find those products here in italy, plus i don't want to buy them from the internet.
By natural ways, i mean special massages, putting something on them or stuff like this

3) What are some good ways to avoid to get them again? Can they be related to me using contact lenses too often? Can they be related to alcohol? Too much water? Too little water? Everything you know

4) Are bags and circles caused by different things or have they common causes?

Lack of sleep and dehydration is usually the cause. I wear contact lenses and get bags under my eyes after a while too. Getting more sleep, drinking more water, avoiding smokey places and drinking less alcohol should help in the long term.

For quick solutions try applying ice cubes, cold tea bags or cold cucumber slices to the eye bags. These should help tighten the skin around the eyes and reduce the puffiness.

It's amazing what you can learn by dating beauty therapists.

Be sure to get freash air every day...

Drink at least 8-10 glasses of water a day, and 3 glasses oof milk.

You can also put cucumbers over each eye, and leave it for 5 minutes, or use cooled tea bags.

Avoid eating salty foods, they can cause black rings under eyes.

So, let's review

• 8 hours of sleep - FREE
• 8-10 glasses of water - FREE
• Milk - even in Italy this shouldn't be hard to find
• Cucumbers - again, this shouldn't be the rarest of vegetables
• Cooled tea bags - the way Europeans love their tea, I can't imagine these not being readily available

I would like to know this too. Is it possible to get a bag under just ONE eye? And what causes this crap? I get a lot of sleep and stay hydrated. I recently started drinking milk and taking a multivitamin again about 4 days ago.

Could the puffiness be allergy related?

I tried the Nivea eye cream that is supposed to remove dark circles. I am not especially impressed. It is greasy (think baby seal in a blender.) It gave me a couple of zits, and I am not very prone to acne. It may work a little to reduce circles, but it is not worth it unless you have very dry skin and never break out.
