Master Don Juan
(my question's in the third paragraph =P) I have a bit of a back hair problem, and while it's fairly light for back hair, it's still unattractive, especially with how pale my skin is. Waxing doesn't last very long at all (certainly not worth the money for how long it lasts), and I've found it quite simply impossible to get a smooth shave with a razor, even though reaching every area isn't a problem.
A while ago I tried Nair on my back, the 4 minute cucumber lotion version I stole from my mom's house, and while it did get all the hair and make for a smooth back, albeit temporarily, it kind of caused my back to break out a bit, and I'm pretty sure it was acne (or something that looked like acne). I have somewhat of an acne problem on my back, but lately I've had it under controla and pretty much acne-free with a salicylic-acid body wash and clearasil stuff, but I really could go without another breakout of acne on my back. I don't know what's worse, a scattering of pimples or a scattering of hair.
So anyway, I'm in the store and I see a Nair For Men, which is a "15 minute" cream. What exactly is the difference between that and the 4 minute version? Since it supposedly takes three times as long does that mean the solution isn't nearly as strong and would be less likely to irritate the skin? Is it really better for men's skin, or is that just a marketing gimmick? I have used the 4-minute version on a couple other parts of my body (....) and didn't experience any breakouts or irritation, aside from a bit of stinging for a short while.
