Mysterious New Year's Eve Call!

Hey, Happy New Years.

On December 31 a girl called my house, before I left to go to a party.

She said "Hey, Happy New Years and jokingly said I LOVE YOU!."

I didn't know what to say but managed to say, "Uh, I love you too?" in a confused voice.

She then said "Bye." and giggled. -Klunk- and dial tone.

"Who was it?" I asked myself.

So its January 2 and I'm at school, yes school, and I can't place who it is. However maybe the girl wasn't here today, after all, half the student body didn't show up on this federal holiday.

So what's your take on this and how can I go about finding out who called me? I don't want to randomly go up to girls I know and say "Hey, do call me on New Year's Eve?"

Then once I find out who it is, how can I use this to my advantage like a true DJ? (if the girl is good looking )

Edit: Her name and # on the Caller ID was Private.

Your not a police officer if she didint tell you her name that can mean one of two things.
1) It was a joke/prank
2) She has no confidence in which case shes not worth tracking down.......................so forget about it

Why not? You will get a lot of practice if you approach girls. But ask the ones that you don't know.
