Gentlemen please be advised that colege administrators, admissions committees and potential employers search facebook, myspace and other such sites as part of their screening process. Be careful of the image that you present because you do not know where it will follow you to.

My myspace is full of naked chicks dancing, I have mine censored, so I have nothing to fear.

Stop posting this **** JESUS H ****ING CHRIST.

How the hell would they find it in the first place? It's what's on THE JOB/IN SCHOOL that counts. NOT WHAT YOU DO IN YOUR FREE TIME ON YOUR DAMN WEBSPACE.

If you think that potential employers and admissions officers don't check you out online you're a damned fool. Not only will they check MySpace and Facebook to see what kind of jerk you are, they Google you too. ALOT cheaper than doing police and credit checks on every applicant.

Know what else? Potential girlfriends/hook-ups and their daddy check you out online too.

I'm amazed at the care and effort guys put into their clothes and presentation only to f' it up with some lame sh1t on facebook... :p

Do you think a couple of shirtless photos will matter?

Stay off the ****ing Internet other than to anonymously post with no pictures. It's much more likely to hurt than help you. If I did create a profile, I'd make it look cool. Pictures of you being a cool guy rock climbing with your buddies or being in a local band isn't going to prevent employment as far as I know. If it were, what kind of company would you be working for? Personally, that would be pretty extreme as long as the profile was coming from a positive place and not trashy, hippie, low-life material.

I got some better ideas:

1. Don't put your real name online. Use a "stage name"

2. Don't say or do anything online that you wouldn't say or do in the real world.

Easy as that. It's all about congruency.

As an aside, I have no idea why so many men have a hate on for internet sarging. It is a great augmentation to one's game after they have mastered face-to-face game.
