Ack , lost my whole post, damn. Ill give you the short version.

I work with lots of single girls. The level of flirting and dating at my workplace puts MTV's real world to shame, im not exagerating. I have now had 2 LTR's as work, one I ended 2 days ago. The whole time I was with her, I would get flirted with on a daily basis.

Ok, so now im single, 1st day of work since the breakup will be tomarrow. Im sure everyone knows about the breakup already.

MY MISSION: TO SET UP DISCRETE BED-BUDS

Im thinking of telling them I want to keep a low profile so as not to hurt my ex. Keep in mind, these girls are horney and either dumb, or they dont care if we keep it a secret (gossip's a *****).

If I get busted, it might be a good thing. There are several guys at work who the more bad gossip that gets out about them being man*****s, the more new girls chase them. I find this flippen hillarious, and I never understood it till I read the boards here.

Am I playing with fire?

Would you take advantage of this situation?

I think it has to be made clear from the beginning. Both of you need to be on the same page about what the relationship is and keeping it discrete.

Even then I wonder, how discrete will she keep it. How cool can she be. What if she isn't down for the bed-buds thing and starts telling everyone you have mini-penis. You know, just tries to alienate you by calling you a jerk and getting everyone against you.

I know that it's worst case but I gotta ask this straight up because I'm in the same boat.

The funny thing is, the more of a reputation you get about being a player or a man*****, the more the girls come after you. It baffled me for a while till i learned some stuff here on these boards. Women like a bad boy at first, women like a challenge, women talk. The more trash they talk, the more others will chase you to see what all the commotion is about.

Ive been at this job 5 years and its always the same thing.

Elder employee tells new girl "stay away from him, he's a man*****"

Not so elder employee tells new girl "stay away from him, he's a man*****"

3 days later: new girl hanging around man***** all the time.

2 weeks later: new girl got nailed by man*****.

1 week later: man***** is on to the next new girl

Now ofcourse this doesnt apply to all new girls, just the ones who like to f*ck.

So as far as 3 outs, or a bad reputation, it seems to help, not hurt.

Depends on what you are looking for

Honestly, it depends on what you are looking for. If you are just wanting to have a good time and don't really care what rumors go round have all the fun you want and believe me the "I don't want to hurt her so be quiet", thing does work. We always buy it especially if we want to be with a guy however. The only thing I would recommend considering is what if you do find a girl there at some point that you want to set your ways aside for and commit to? Or maybe you just end up meeting a girl that you want to commit to you and take you seriously. The rumors could kill the assumed advantage you get from exciting the girls and making them want you by your current behavior. Just something to think about. It is always best to keep your bedtime fun away from work, but if fun is all you are looking for anytime in the near future then have it.

As one R. Don Steele pointed out, the instant you betray the concept that other women desire you, a 'loser' in Womaniverse, it's all over. And conversely, as you say, if you are seen as a player, with a 'pick of the litter', that just amplifies matters. If a man with the 'pick of the litter' were to choose just one woman, that'd mean to the girl she's so special, so womanly that she beat out all those other girls to the punch; all in all, not so different from when a guy 'wins' over a highly in demand hottie.

The hardest time for me at work is when I'm new, but after awhile, once I'm established, it's a different story.
