so I finally found a quality girl, has everything im looking for, and she is really happy with me. Great!

we been exclusive bf and gf for 3 months now, so yesterday I felt its been a good amount of time since we had the last talk that I would wait until she is ready for sex, because she is 19 and a virgin, Im her first bf which I think its great.... well yesterday we were just doing some foreplay and stuff and I asked her if she felt more comfortable with me and that she would see herself doing it with me.

well she said yes, that she is ready... but that she wants me to do a blood test just in case.... So I was taken by surprise by her comment, but I feel she is a quality girl and I said, if that will make u feel secure, then we can do that.

now, last time I had a blood test, I came positive for HSV 1, (herpes 1) the one that is suppsed to be in the mouth, even though I never get the symptoms ,,, Though I get cold sores once every six months, but I've had that since i was a kid....

I like this girl, I want things to work, Im a bit concerned that she will freak out if the test comes positive for oral herpes... i think well its not genital herpes that could be worse.... but IDK how to preceed here....

feeling a bit down, dont really wanna break up with her, i dont think she would if she found out, but Im not sure... is there a way to get tested for all STDs and genital herpes and NOT for oral herpes?

The majority of the population has HSV-1 and will test positive for it during a blood test. Your doctor will vouch for this.

Herpes is spread by skin-to-skin contact much more so than actual penetrative sex. Just don't kiss any part of her when you have a cold sore, and you will both be fine.

I'm no doctor, but I can vouch for this, as I work at an STD testing company. Many of our customers test "positive" for it, however, more in the "warning" range. We don't consider these positive tests.
