This began last Monday but thought Id wait until I was a week into this to post this. The main reason I am postiing this is to keep myself in line. Honestly, I could care less if ANYONE reads this. My goal and dream in life at this early stage of being 19, to play football in college, somewhere, anywhere at any level in January. I have been training CONSISTENTLY since March, but only have I been serious since the 1st week of May. Why am I posting this here? Well I truley believe my drastic changes that I started a week ago will take care of the next most important thing for me, getting pvssy.

Major changes:

No more drinking alcohol--This was mostly a weekend thing

No more smoking weed--this is the longest Ive gone without smoking since I was 15. Aside from when I was on probation for 2 months

No more sex, of any kind-- Yes I have begun practicing celebacy

Ok so Im 5'10 and 174 lbs. I am/was a LB in HS. My playing weight my senior year was 205. My body fat was 23%. It is now down to 10.5% last time I checked.

Bench press: I dont max out, so that I dont get to caught up with that # but it is somewhere between 225-250.

Squat: Again, I dont max out. I usually finish up my 4th set between 315-330

I admit, I am only average in the weight room but pound for pound I know Im the baddest mofo on the field, and I play like it. This is why I know that some dedication in the weight room is what is seperating me from everyone else. I am on my way. My senior year I was 30 lbs heavier but I didnt carry that weight well. I was out of shappe, undiscilpined and let my natural talent get me by. My max bench press my senior year was 205 and my max squat was 345. Ive lost 30 lbs in an effort to cut body fat be4 building muscle mass

My goal: Put on 15-20 lbs of muscle by January

I will not touch weed, alcohol or my penis until July at the very earliest. Its time to focus! Football is what spurred this, but finding myself is another big thing I am loooking forward to. Im sick of being generally confused and unsure about seemingly everything. I believe that I am at an age right now that will do a lot to determine what kind of person I become and I will no longer allow the momnet to get iin the way of my future.

Workout schedule:

Monday-Friday, alternating from Chest/Shoulders to Legs/back. Whatever I do 3 days one week, I will do 2 the next.

Supplements and Food:

Id like some advice here if anyones got any. I am very disciplined when it comes to my eating habits and have been for about 6 months. I eat every 2-3 hours, I get 20-30 grams of protein every meal. I was taking NO2 and creatine for a couple months in the beginning of the year. For the last month Ive been taking weight gainers but have seen no results. My plan is to get back on Creatine and NO2 and buy some protein shakes. My dad is always harping on me about getting that calorie intake up and there is no other way of gaining weight, but it still doesnt seem to be working. I tell him Im somewhet worried about eating too much fatty foods that would give me those calories but he tells me with as much as Im working out that I will not get fat and I am burning lots of calories. Right now, I am getting upwards of 4,000 calories a day with the weight gainers that I will soon be getting off of. I find it nearly impossible to find time in the day to get more calories but it seems I have no choice

Steroids is not an option!

The next 2 months will be very key for me, probably the 2 most important months of my young life. I will keep this updated if for nothing else but to keep myself in line

My first week:

May 30- June 3

I decided I would start all this change after my b-day last Sunday. I slipped up and smoked again on Monday because I got to my gym as it was closing. Couldnt work out so I decided I would give myself 1 more day

Tuesday- worked out chest/shoulders

Wednesday- legs/back

Thursday- chest/shoulders

friday- legs/back

Started reading The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand. The ex-bytch bought me it 2 christmas' ago and through the advice I remembered her giving me about reading this book, I though it would be a good time to brush the dust off it and start reading. Wow am I glad she bought me it, Im already starteing to feel like a new person

My 2nd week...

June 6- June 10

Havent smoked, havent drank, havent had any kind of sex

Monday- worked out chest/shoulders

Tuesday- Legs/back

Wednesday- chest/shoulders

Thursday- Legs/back

Friday- Chest/Shoulders

I've gone from using 80 lb DBs the previous week to 85 lbs on my last set of flat bench at the end of this week

Went from 330 on my last set of squats to 365

Weight- 174, it seems I have to eat 3500 calories a day just to maintain my weight-- VERY FRUSTRATING

No sex or drugs has really given me all the motivation I need to hit the gym after work everyday. If for some reason I start thinking Im tired when Im at work and contemplate skipping a work out the thought of not smoking or having sex for the past week and a half took those thoughts right out of my head. Ive been anxious to get in the gym

Week 3:

June 13- June 17

3 weeks without weed, alcohol, or sex. Had my first wet dream of my life towards the end of the week. I wasn't too shocked, I remember hearing somewhere that your body needs to release it some how, or something like this. Was pretty POed though, I really wanted to plaster the 1st girl I hooked up with:eek:

Monday- worked out legs/back

Tuesday- Chest/Shoulders

Wednesday- Legs/Back

Thursday- Chest/Shoulders

Friday- Didnt workout. No reason, just didnt go. Not too upset with myself though, I had a good week in the gym

I still weigh in at 173.6 lbs. I eat at 10 am, 12:30 pm, 3:30 pm, 5:30 pm, workout at about 8 and eat again at about 10 pm and then again at about 11-11:30. I get plenty of protein, atleast 20 grams every meal and usually more like 30. I eat my biggest meal after my workout. I eat tuna nearly everyday. I still cant gain weight. I havent done cardio for a month now. Still cant gain weight. I have finished off my 2 barrels of weight gainer, didnt gain an ounce. My only explanation is Im not eating enough high fat/high calorie foods. I hate eating fast food, it makes me feel ****ty. But I see no other choice but to start eating these kinds of foods. Anyone got any supplement suggestions? I do need to get some more protein shake, as Ive run out of that a few weeks ago. I will be getting on NO2 hopefully by the 1st of the month(damn stuff is so expensive). Maybe creatine too. Im getting stronger, getting more cuts and my muscles are gtting bigger, but cant gain weight

Don't bother with supplements - you won't grow on 20g of protein per meal, period. Sort that out first, then think about the rest.

Your workout is also quite rubbish. Chest twice a week, and within three days?

Nothing wrong with sex, incidentally. If you've got a long-term girlfriend then I reckon it'd be a bit of a requirement.

any more than 30g of protein per 2-3 hours is a complete waste, and I get 30 grams of protein every 2-3 hours. Thanks for trying to give me some advice though. I appreciate anything you guys can teach me

dont need any advice on my workout. What are your credentials for making such claims, btw?

Alright man, if you say so. I have an article to back up the "myths about high protein" and one of the myths is what you just said. I won't post it here tho cause it'll take up a lot of space and I don't wanna hijack your thread like that... But i'd recommend 300g/day of protein at least.

Ill check into it more. I have read/heard from numerous sources that it is bad to take in that much protein and have heard from experts that through studies its been proven that your body cant do anything with all that extra protein and that its just a total waste. But again, Im not the expert, thats just what Ive heard from much more knowledgable sources. Ill try it out though, I have nothing to lose and lots of weight still to gain. I suppose it couldnt hurt to try the added protein and see where it gets me. I still believe that lack of calories is hurting me more than lack of protein though

more protein = more calories bro.

If you start eating 50g per meal.... it's gonna be 20g more than you currently eat, which translates to 80 calories per meal * 6 meals = 480 more calories.
