I'm fairly new, flame me if you want :). I appreciate the input. Here's my thoughts:

Firstly I'd like to say that in my opinon, I (and maybe others) have misinterpreted some of the advice here. There are things that will raise a womens interest level, but only if it's 60-70%. If she has no interest in you at all, then they have no effect:

Wait x days before asking her on a date
This won't raise her interest level. It's just to prevent you from looking too desperate. If the girl likes you it get's her thinking "why hasn't he called?" and she starts imagining you with other women. But if she isn't interested she probablly won't even care.

Example: Some ugly girl who bores you to tears waits two weeks before calling you and asking YOU on a date, do you like her more?

Act busy, and let her know you are dating other people and you're desired.
Again, if she likes you it drives her nuts. She wants you for HERSELF. She likes that you have a busy lifestyle. If she has no interest in the first place, why would she care?

Example: You hear this girl you find ugly and boring is participating in all kinds sports and is dating lots of guys, do you care?

If the girl likes you then you can raise her interest level with these things. If she's not a little interested in the first place THEY WON'T WORK.

There's other advice too - like don't call every day, don't buy her flowers and choclates. This is all good advice, but it's just preventing you from being AFC. It doesn't make you anymore attractive. Doing these things (or even "acting") doesn't help you be more attractive, it just prevents you from being UNATTRACTIVE.

Things like dressing better, going to the gym, CONFIDENCE, and C & F make you attractive.

I've known this girl for about 3 years. We don't see each other too much though. She was overweight in school and she's lost weight now. Slowly she's transformed and she's really beautiful now, she's always been a bubbly and happy girl and now she looks great too.

She has had one boyfriend since her "transformation" and is seeing another guy now. That is she has had only 2 boyfriends in her life, but in the space of two years. She's become more attractive.

What mainly attracts MEN? Looks. She improves her looks, men notice her and want to go out with her.

What mainly attracts WOMEN? Confidence. Improve your confidence, women will notice you and want to go out with you.

What is confidence? When you have it, you don't even know it's there. Confident people aren't really aware of themselves, they're focused on the task at hand (conversation, playing tennis, whatever). When you let go of all your inhibitions and self-doubt, confidence is what's left behind.

Just my 2 cents

Good stuff Santos. But you forget that HBs have a different set of logic than guys. A good example of this is my experience with my ex-oneitis.

Example: An ugly, boring girl who has been pursuing you for months finally gets a clue and dates other men. You heave a sigh of relief.

But what actually happened when I NEXTed my one-itis, she got really bitter and slandered me to her friends and her new boyfriend. Previously, she never showed more than sea-level IL so her reaction was totally inconsistant.

Yeah, but in your case, it was more a blow to her ego than anything else. It still didn't mean she was interested in you.

I never implied that she was interested. Just that a regular guy wouldn't care if an ugly girl ignored him and dated other men. We don't demand or expect to have every girl kiss our asses.
