My Ideal Relationship

This forum is useful but we tend to dwell on the negative and what went wrong. For a change, I thought I'd provide some bullet points regarding the positive and what went right during my most recent relationship.

• Love at first sight
• She gave me her number without my asking
• She called me when I texted her the night we met
• First date within a few days
• Kissed goodbye after first date
• She sent thank-you text after date
• I avoid her for some time and she chased me
• Kissed on second date
• She was true to me during my relocations
• Had sex on third date
• Had sex every date thereafter, to the point it became boring to me
• She wanted commitment after 6 months
• She claimed I broke her heart by not agreeing to commitment
• She got on 5 planes to see me
• We dated 18 months
• Toward end, when I tried to end it she wouldn’t let me
• I continued to read her and knew when it was time to end things
• When we did break up it was mutual
• I resisted “dump echo” after breakup
• I never looked back
• I don’t miss her and don’t want her back.

Perhaps I'm missing something so I appreciate your thoughts (but not if you are a woman who wants to demonize me for not subsidizing her bills forevermore).

You got this woman to do a lot for you which in turn resulted in her loving you even more regardless of the fact that you weren't giving her your best shot. You appeared to have done everything right, but you also appear to not understand what 'everything right' is. You had her in love which means you have he wherewithal to have another in love. What's dump echo?

Dump Echo is a phenomenon so common that I coined the term. It refers to when a woman ends it with you but then blows up your phone after. We tend to misinterpret this as her implying she actually does care, when in reality she is simply making sure you are still at her disposal. Hence, we must resist this.

Love at first sight? If you don't mind me asking, how can you love somebody at first sight? I can be ATTRACTED at first sight, maybe a lil crush, but love?

But, it sounds like yall did have a beautiful beginning. I'd say if she got on 5 planes to see you... she a keeper. I would've committed right there, but hey, the choice is yours. It sounds like this girl possesses som good qualities, though. Wish I had some of those in the girls in my area.
