Last week I ended up meeting my upstairs neighbor after she complained about me being too loud.

Well, long story short, I tried DJing on her. Turns out that she's 28, a good ten years older than me.

She's very attractive and has an awesome personality. However, the problem is that she feels it's so odd to do anything, such as even go out and talk, with a guy who is so much younger.

As I think that she likes me, I think that she'll be able to remove this inhibition over time.

But I need some suggestions for helping me to date this girl. Really, I need suggestions on how to make the age difference between us an issue that really doesn't impact the relationship between us.

Great words of wisdom, but it's not me who thinks it is an issue; it's her.

And to her, it IS an issue, an issue that she has blatantly confessed.

So tell me when exactly did she give you positive body signals, eye contact, and interested verbal language before she hooked you in?

Tell her it is no big deal, if she likes you it shouldnt matter

If you want to talk, talk to your friends. If you want a girl to like you, listen to her, ask questions, and act like you are on the edge of your seat.

"Date" forget that. For normal chicks her age its social suicide to "date" 18 year olds. She'll fvck them and tell her girlfriends about it to feed her ego but dont looking for anymore than that, basically her times running out to find a provider and your not going to be it unless shes trash or socially inept.

However you can tap it by just following the basics here, build some serious rapport, make sure she associates you as the fun boy, lotsa kino, maybe a genuine compliment here and there (not the AFC type compliment) which compares her to chicks your own age but has her looking better than them, make her laugh and booze is always good and dont be a puzzy eunich etc etc rinse and repeat.

She has a bad day and feels sorry for herself, starts to think back at all the mistakes she made, wants to be reassured and feel young again means its game on for you, probably get a knock at the door if youve played it right.

Girls her age will never seriously consider being seen in public with a guy 10 yrs younger on their arm. Like somebody else said, it's social suicide. Personally I doubt she'll even do you, unless she's really a who-er. And she may well be, I have no idea. If she does however, expect it to be just that kind of thing, and you'll probably have to make it seem like you're "seducing" her , if she thinks of herself as a "nice girl"-type, so that she doesn't feel guilty about it. If she comes off more like the party girl/ sl^tty-type however, then she probably won't care about "taking the lead" , so to speak, sexually, once you two are in the right kind of situation. But either way she won't date you, no way. If only you were a female, and she a male......... you'd be a prize catch for her, or , well in that case "him". :D

She'll jump your bones but probably won't date. The problem with this being...

Yeah, I got nothing.

Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.

Hey all he may want is just sex .

>>> Ironic how he's 18 and wanting "just sex" from a 28 year old in this case, and I'm 30 (much closer to the 28 yr old's age obviously) and always wanting "just sex" from 18 year olds. Life is funny isn't it?? When you're young, you want older ones. As you get older, the younger the better. Care to trade ages 18 year old guy?? ~Dino~

That's cause they don't know as women get older they get crazier. It's probably because their attractiveness is fading and they counted all those times they fcked over good guys while dating losers who mess them up in the head. Or they were messed up in the first place.

>>> Yeah, it's partially all that, and it's also because their biological alarm clocks are going off big-time by late 20's, and in the early 30's forget about it. Suffice to say, women in their early 30's , even if they're hot as hell, and they've never been married or had any kids, they have definitely come DOWN off of their "high horse" by then. They've come back to reality with their expectations out of a man. They see spinsterhood a mere 10 more years away. I've said it here before and I stand behind it; time is on OUR side, men, in the great game. They may have the upper hand from teens into the late 20's, maybe even into the early 30's, but at that point the tables start to turn. Because a guy who's 35, has some money, is doing at least OK for himself, and has never been married or had a kid at that age, can EASILY go out and (if he has even average looks and game) pull a 25 or 23 year old broad , impressing her with his apparent "solid" lifestyle and serious plans for the future, his wanting to settle down, etc etc. And furthermore, quite simply, we can reproduce into our , what?? early 70's ?? Provided we're with a young enough fertile female. Time is on OUR side. WE get to become the "choosier" ones once we hit that tables-turning phase, which is, as I said, around the early 30's or so in my opinion. ~Dino~

Dino, Mos Def - I have a friend who is 32, I ask him.. Dude why do you keep picking up women that are ten years younger than you? He said this: "Why would I want to date a single woman in her 30s whose been rejected by the same men around my age? The good ones are already taken, the one's that are left are sloppy seconds for some sucker out there who thinks he's casanova when infact he's gonna either be dating single women with 5 kids from 2 different guys, psycho ho, or some ugly biatch."

get some loud chick in there and make her get noisy (in the middle of the night, for good couple of hours), once the neibhour hears what she is missing, she'll be down to "complain".

Dress older :
Suit
tie
dress pants
dress shoes

On day to day stuff

And casual business on weekends:
shirt with a collar
NOT JEANS
dress shoes.

the rest has to do with your mind, if you feel you are mature, go for it, if you are immature, then do something about it.

And just keep maccin on her, eventually she be your booty, and damn you could turn this to a **** buddy even, wich would work out just fine imho since shes older and you could learn a few thing at this age.

If he looks older, only people that know his age will "consider it unnacceptable".
No one else will notice. and if she likes the guy, your view really doesnt exist my example.

>>> It may sound kind of harsh, and of course as with anything there are always exceptions to the "rules", but what I've found is that in my general "age range" (same as your friend's, say, 28 to 34 or 35 ) women are like parking spaces; the good ones are taken, the rest are handicapped. :p
