Ive searched this topic but I coundt find the answer plz help

After I get out of the shower and my hair is wet, the hair on the top and all over my head tend to curl at the ends and curls inward at the top. My hair isnt long at all ,maybe an inch but for some reason it wont stray straight to the top or the sides and it comes out with an arch from the root. All of it comes out from the root with an arch that goes forward then goes back at the top. All my strands of hair have the shape of the letter C. the hair starts out at the root forming the letter with a arch which then bends backward and my whole head of hair is like that. I dont know why. In math class if you remb what a parabola was, my hair are all parabolas from the root.

I want my hair to be straight from top to bottom and I've tried gels and spike gells and it doesnt work. What product must I use to keep my hair smooth and straight so I can spike it up rather than have it look greasy and curly but sort of matte with flat straight spikes not curly greasy spikes that curl at the end but stay straight till the tip. They can shine but not be greasy, and i want straight stand up spikes that dont fold on themselves.

Another problem I have is that when I get out of the shower and the water is still in my hair that the spikes I get by running my hand through my hair are great, each spike has better volume and is more rigid, as the hair dries and I put the gell the spikes usually get smaller, I get lots of small spikes when I want lesser bigger spikes, with more definition which you can see better. My hair is just a bunch or curly half way spikes and I want a head of a fewer bigger spikes that stand straight and dont look greasy. My spikes usually tend to bunch up together and looked botched up and then you tend not to see them by the end of the day. My spikes seem to shrink after a while and dont have that lift and volume that i want they just bunch up and curl. They arent straight to begin with when i come out of the shower.

What should I do?

nope

No, i wouldnt look good with a shaved head, I dont have the right features. I have a big nose so I need my hair to also be big.

Is there a way to straighten my hair.

What other types of cuts could I get.

You could shag it out. A lot of people are doing that these days.

OMFG!

just kill yourself now, there's no point in living any longer.

actually, you might look desperate with it spiked, so leave it straight.

and wear a hat so you don't look insecure.

err...oh sh*t, I didn't completely read your thread until just now....and that sh*t about your head/hair resembling parabolas...OMG dude, is it the parabola x^2 or x^n, where n is greater or equal to 4? because, if it's greater or equal to 4...dude, you seriously need to see a doctor...sh*t dude, you're screwed

Meaning you just let it grow. Don't use any hair products or anything.

Shag it out = Shaggy hair

I don't think you get it.

We're all making jokes and laughing because you are insecure. Too insecure.

Who gives a flying fcuk if your hair spikes or not?

As long as your face is not distorted, and you are somewhat attractive, the condition of your hair, etc. does not matter.

I can't consistently spike my hair either. I am slowly balding, and I'm guessing in one or two years I will be completely bald...at least judging by my father's old pictures. There are some things you cannot change. Did you not read the thread about the guy who got in a car crash and had his face distorted? Read it, some have it much worse than you, stop being such a baby.

It's an inner game issue...besides I've read your other posts...you need to get your inner game together.

It's not about your hair, your clothes, which side of the bed you get up in the morning.

And don't say you're not insecure about it, because if you were not, you would not have made such a lengthy, detailed post about it here.

Sure, take a few minutes to do your hair in the morning, but if doesn't spike, seriously who cares. Didn't you post about breaking up with your girlfriend recently?

So, you've had a girlfriend without your hair spiked, so why do you want to spike your hair now? Does it really matter?

at our house
instead of using hair gel try hair glue
it tends to keep the hair in place better

No offense, but you need to start listening when people say things.

In the future, please do a search. If you can't find the answer after that, post in the right section. If you need to find definitions to generic questions (i.e. "what is texturization"), try googling it first before asking.

However, apparently 2 months is too long to remember the part about "POSTING IN THE RIGHT SECTION". Also, there are over 90 threads relating to hair in H&F alone. I'm sure that one of them is going to contain the answers you seek...

Moved to H&F (if you post in the wrong section again your thread will be deleted instead of moved, three strikes you're out); closed.
