No one gives a sh1t about your friends. Everyone always has "friends" that accomplish fvcking amazing things, but I never meet them. Where are these mythical friends that can pull trucks with their teeth and lose 20 lbs in 4 days with no cardio and eat 80g of protein a day?
I just had a co-worker come in here and tell me that I don't show any progress from all the eating and lifting I do.
Nevermind that I gained 30 lbs and girls oo and ah over my back, shoulders, and arms.
Nevermind that I've taken off 20 lbs of fat while gaining a bunch of strength in the past 2 months after coming off a knee dislocation where i could barely walk for a month.
Nevermind my max weights from a year ago I can move without an effort in the course of a warmup.
But "his friends" - they do crazy ass high volume workouts like him and they're "huge." Too bad when they stop their poor little muscles will shrink back down.
What the hell is wrong with people just walking up to you and giving you unsolicited opinions? Then they ask you something and then want to argue about it. WHY DID YOU ASK if you were just going to argue it?
To hell with it. I'm just going to keep deadlifting and squatting and having real power and they can keep on working out 7 days a week and doing 4 bicep exercises a day and 16 sets of half benches so they can show off their swelling.
