This hasn't actually been an issue (I haven't a chick point this out or anything), but I notice it pretty often. The area between my leg and ballsack, on both sides, smell gross. Naturally, after running or doing exercise, your crotch gets smelly and you should shower, but even when I'm not working out, that part of my crotch starts smelling.

I've tried trimming my pubes, figuring they could be catching odors, but it didn't help much. I've switched soaps, but the new one only worked for a few weeks before the smell returned.

I shower about once a day. Maybe I should just shower more often? It really dries my skin out though.

Maybe you are wearing pants that are too tight and dont let air through, thus making the sweat rot there(similarly to airtight shoes)?

Shower twice a day, and use moisturizing cream if you notice your skin is getting too dry.

well it could be that you have an std...or it could be that your not tapping/shaking it well after you pee. Think about it if you don't shake off the excess piss it soakes into your underwear and then your balls stew in piss all day!!

ok... health 101. looks like this might help a few people

1. soap dries your skin out and makes it flake. use a pH neutral body wash or shower gel.
2. hot showers also dry your skin out by stripping natural protection from the outer layers. take a bath on the weekends.
3. when you're dry, either use skin moisturiser or baby powder with zinc in it. alternate between the two. because of work, gym and the rest, i have to shower twice a day, but i slap on some moisturiser or powder after i shave (my face) and this has helped prevent or cure rashes, dry skin, smells and the rest.
4. maybe this is too obvious, but when you use your shower gel, put it on a loofah or pouf: using a bar of soap by itself will turn you into a vile smelling, flaky, crusty leper. i've used the same palmolive 2-in 1 head and body gel with a pouf for years and the girls say i taste sweet.

hell yes! use moisturising shaving gel from nivea or schick. soap, razors and hot showers are not what your epidermis evolved to deal with so you have to take countermeasures if you want to take advantage of the convenience that those modern inventions provide. zinc in baby powder helps microabrasions heal and absorbs smells, sweat etc. it keeps you looking young. ideally you'd just scrub yourself with a pumice stone in a running mountain stream but that doesn't fit into a 40 hour week.

oh sh!t. metrosexuality has crept up on me. lucky i'm wearing my lumberjack boots.
