This is in reference to the girl in this thread: http://www.sosuave.net/forum/index....hen-doesnt-respond-to-me.233566/#post-2332084

Cliffs: hung out with girl a couple times, had a hard time scheduling a third time to hang out, then she texted me asking me to hang out one weekend and when I responded, she didn't respond.

Just like I said I would, went NC on the chick for more than a week.

Now her mutual friend...or more specifically a friend of the mutual friend....who introduced us just randomly texted me today and asked me how things are between the two of us. And she added, "just curious."

Ummm....wtf? You mean your friend who outright ignored me when I responded to her text to hang out?

How should I respond to this? I mean...it's pretty obvious that she should know what's going on since she's friends with the chick. Just she just want to give her friend an ego boost if I responded that I'm still thinking about her?

it's theoretically possible that they aren't close enough(or on good terms anymore) for her to know from the other girl

although it's possible that she just wants to talk about how it's going with you and that's just how she starts the conversation, so just respond either cautiously ("and why would you wanna know that :p") or just answer it vaguely ("i think things are going fine", "meh, could be worse", "it's going okay, why?")

Next the first girl. Start picking up the friend. If you **** the friend the first girl will just want you more.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

You're overthinking it. Doesn't really matter what her motive is for asking. Suppose you were a busy guy with lots of options, what would you say?

"Dunno haven't heard from her in a while"
I actually ended up replying with a variation of this last night.

Yewki nailed it.

I hate when girls just want an extra ego boost outta some guys. I personally don't want to partake in any contribution to the boosting of any female who has a suuuuuupppeeer crazy ego. We already have enough of those today thanks to social media.

I don't like to be the guy who pretends like he's busy; or pretend like he has a million other options; but I will let that b1tch know that she should stay in her lane (and that's shes not some type of one in a million goddess that im lucky to get ahold of... yikes, the delusion some females have), and that my life does not revolve around her, and she should get that vibe from my response.

There's plenty of women out in this world, and there's plenty of other things to do in this world besides worry about one silly women. You can play games, fulfill your goals, tend to your hobbies, tend to your own life problems, chill with friends, improve yourself, find new things to do, work out, etc. It's silly for a girl to expect a guy for his life to revolve around her; and I'd never give a girl that opportunity to boost her ego off silly thoughts such as that.

Yewki's response would've been perfect.

She is either an ally of her friend and is making contact on her friends behalf, or she is reaching out to you for her own good (preselection).
Ask her out and see what happens, if she says no then she was most likely acting for her friend. Then you will know what direction the wind is blowing.
If she says yes and in conversation she beings up her friend too often on the date, then you still know. A little money and time to find out…
If the mutual is not date able, I.e., already has a BF or is married, then she is acting in friends behalf… Unless she's just nosey…

Tell her that her friend blew it and you're done with her. On to the next plate/lady/date.

She will contact you so fast it won't be funny
