I order this book about two years ago and started myself on the program with some good results. I must have lost the book when I moved and never wrote anything down. I've decided to try to get myself another copy, or perhaps try skinnyguy.net (both seem pretty much the same to me from what I've read).

I can remember the training part, but laying out a 2500 cal diet plan based on these programs has me stumped. Until I can get a copy, I cant recall the proper protien, simp and comp carbs, ect. layout for a 5x meal day on a 2500 cal diet. pre-work out, post work out, etc. Can anyone advise?

Also, When I was on muslenow I had a hard time putting down the meats with all of that food, and I suck at cooking, so I opted for a protien powder to supp. the meat portion for a few meals.
Is this acceptable?

Thanks in advance.

I have the book and used to follow the program to a tee. Although it works, I believe it can give people the wrong idea about how rigid you have to follow the program - things like cycling resting periods and rotating simple and complex carbs have little impact on the average body builder.

Just remember: Body building isn't rocket science. Listen to your common sense - you don't need to exactly plan out a 2500 cal diet. Eat in that range and everything will be fine.

What kind of gains did you get out of it?

As for the diet, It made sense to me to take in a higher count of simp carbs pre and post workout, comp carbs & higher protiens at other times ect., but I don't even have a ballpark figure to work off of here.

Maybe someone has a link they can share on that subject?
