There is plenty of good advice on cutting and bulking up, but what I want to know is how you get the muscle to look defined and ripped, and how do you turn a solid stomach into a six pack?

to get a ripped defined anything you need to diet down to a low enough body fat and minimize water retention.

is there something more specific you were looking for?

Muscle definition doesnt exist in the ways most people think it does. Your muscles look how they look, the only way to "define" them is to drop bodyfat.

It's basically cutting up my friend. Drop the body fat, and the true shape of the muscle is much easier to see. That makes your entire body look either toned, ripped, whatever. It's all to do with the old BF%

OK, so you know about bulking and cutting. Now, you want to hear about definition. Here is the secret (well kept, until now):

1) Bulk -- you need to gain muscle.

2) Cut -- you need to get rid of the fat so the muscle is visible.

Of course, this all depends on how you are currently built. You may want to skip step 1.
