Hi guys, I need some help analyzing the situation and some advice on what I should do about it. Sorry if its' a long read
There's a girl named Kara that I've been sort of seeing off and on all of this school year. We're both seniors. Basically, it's a stupid cycle where we flirt and get close to relationship and then drift away before we get to the relationship point.
Basically, she's an extremely sheltered girl. She's close friends with her sister Jess, who's only a grade below us and extremely cool. But they're sheltered because they've never seen a c*ck. Kara's never been drunk before. She's pretty innocent (she didn't know what "cop a feel" meant before I told her), she's not allowed to have guys in the house when her parents are not home, she's not allowed to be in a vehicle with a friend driving (meaning, I couldn't really "pick her up" for a date because it's a no-no in their house rules). Whenever we go out we end up piling everyone in her van and she drives. They can't see rated R movies, or go out much on schoolnights etc. Kara's 18, Jess is 17. I think it's kinda a bit too far.
Now, they're a ton of fun and I want to show Kara a good time, and I'm sure she'd let me. But there's her group of friends that she has that are incredibly boring. Going out with all of them is like going to a fricking business meeting. I won't bore you with specific examples. They just aren't lively, crazy or wild. And things the guys find funny are extremely nerdy and retarded. Like pretending a shoe is a phone, or wearing a purse on their head saying they're arabic, hahahahaha. Shoot me.
So what would you guys do? Try and "corrupt" the entire friend circle into making them a bit more open and crazy? Stealing Kara away isn't easy, because inviting her to something means inviting her sister to something, which then means she's going to take her boring boyfriend, and then they'll all end up coming. And if she doesn't bring her boyfriend, then Jess is all over me playfully flirting and Kara just kinda ends up "being there". I don't know what I should do. She's not exactly open to leaving her specific group of friends behind to come along with mine, because she'd get crap from the others. In fact, they've actually told me once I'm not supposed to have friends other than them. But with them, it's hard to be myself in a group of boring unlively people, since I'm used to bouncing off other people's energy. Not being the source of everyone else's. And as it is, Kara's fun too if it's jus tme her, or her and her sister and Sarah or something. But mix in the other people and it tends to go down hill a bit.
