Moving out of the ultimate bachelor pad. Three story townhouse with 2 car garage and a fourth floor rooftop jacuzzi, walk to all the clubs, restaurants, etc downtown. I heard an NBA player recently bought one on the other side of the drive, that's how PIMP this place is.

Kinda tired of hosting the parties what seems like every weekend, and climbing the stairs is a pain, but I will miss some things about it ;)

So......the new place.......

14th floor in a brand new highrise overlooking the pool with a view of the city. Several restaurants, bars, and movie theaters are scheduled to open soon right in the same building. It's basically in the epicenter of the entertainment district. I will be able to take the elevator down and within a minute be eating at my favorite Thai restaurant, or hanging out at any one of the dozens of bars or clubs.

Sounds great huh?

Well, there are a few drawbacks.

1) It takes FOREVER to wind your way through TEN floors of a parking garage that might as well be a MAZE. I have to go through 2 security gates to park in the tiniest parking spot I have ever seen. Hello door dings! Oh, did I mention that when you are driving through the garage you see places every few feet where people have literally scraped the walls with their cars. the garage is THAT bad.

2) Once you get parked you have to hit a fingerprint pad to get into the elevator. Once you are IN the elevator you have to enter a code, and hit the fingerprint pad again. It probably takes 7-8 minutes just to get from the street into the condo. What a pain.

3) The condo is what they call a "soft loft". Basically, the living room is separated by the bedroom by a half wall. What if I bring back a chick and she has a friend in tow? I'll either have to pull off a threesome, or have sex in the closet!

You say, "Why did you move in there then?". It's a long story, but I kind of have to for now. I guess it could be worse.

i remember when I stayed down in Sarasota, FL, when I first moved there I stayed in an extended stay hotel until I figured out what i wanted to do. Then I rented a townhouse smack dab on Ocean Blvd in Siesta Keys. Horville USA. literarly every day was a party. EVERY day. Sunday afternoon? BEACH PARTY (beach 1 block away). Tuesday night? LIVE MUSIC PARTY AT SKOB!!!

it literarly got to the point where I was 23 and partyed out.

I now it sounds like a "tough" problem to have, but you really don't know how exhausting it can be until you experience it.

The place I am in now is a pre-party magnet for everyone since it is walking distance to all of the entertainment, and you can park on the street right at my front door so no parking garage to deal with. Since it is three floors it's inviting for people to crash there too since I have the master br. that I can close off and people can crash on the couch or in the loft room.

Don't get me wrong, I love having people over and I don't mind any of my friends crashing if they can't drive, but sometimes it becomes a regular thing.

And the partying...I feel ya. I work a lot lately so I only get out once a week or so but even that takes a lot out of me cause I'm already exhausted. Last weekend I walked a chick I know back to my biz partner's condo, then I walked back to my place at around 4-4:30am and my temporary roommate and several other people were partying away in the jacuzzi. I'm sure the chicks were even naked, but I was DONE. Didn't even bother to go up on the roof. I went to bed and told him to lock up when they were done.

With the new place at least there isn't much street level parking at my front door, and you have to go through all the security BS to get up to my condo, but I'm telling you, it's SMACK in the middle of the action. I stepped out on the balcony last night and i could hear the music from a cool rooftop tiki bar thats a couple of blocks away.

I will likely be there about a year or a year and a half, so I guess i should just enjoy the positive aspects while I'm there. I can definitely get used to being able to grab a killer slice of pizza or an italian sausage at the drop of a hat I'm hungry late at night, and the club where I seem to get the best action from the ladies at is right across the street. I could literally throw a rock and hit it.

Well see how the "lets stay the night at STR8UP's place" goes. I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunity to get laid that I normally wouldn't have. Might have to build a little "bom chicka wa wa" room in the huge walk in closet to get any privacy though, hehe. Hey, maybe I really should.....

Men frequently err by talking too much. They often monopolize conversations, droning on and on about topics that bore women to tears. They think they're impressing the women when, in reality, they're depressing the women.

FL is too laid back.. and tehre isn't a horse track.. at least one worth going to (sorry Tampa Bay downs) on the west coast of FL.

My normal day consisted of this:

Get up
Go to Marina Jacks
Maybe Drive down to Venice to go to Sharkys
Home, nap
Get up again, Get Dressed
Go to either SKOB, the little italian place right next to it, or that night club down the street.. whatever is jumpin
When that poops out, either hit a strip club or go back behind Maria jacks for an after party
go to sleep

it's fun.. hella fun for like the first 2 months. It's so bad I don't even drink anymore. I couldnt' possibly live there and hold a regular job.
