My income is 65K/year.

15K was spent on a LTR for the past year, helping with rent, food,
romantic dates and weekend getaways.

She would go psycho about her Mercedes, and how if a couple of drops of water got in the car after leaving her car door open for a couple of seconds would ruin it. Bad temper. Part Italian with a temper. Funny thing is that the outside of the car was ****...all scratch...front license plate tide on with rope...

I could do better...point is, I am going to be my own little project for the next year, just saving money, cuz I can't afford a place of my own...will have to live with roommates when I move out to save money. I am now broke. Maybe hang out with AFC friends and stuff, but nothing much else...

Any advice?

Best advice is for you to totally blame yourself for this problem.

All you need to do is work hard for the next year or so. Live a simple life and save your money. Do away with the need for debt. Get your life inorder first and don't put your fate in the hands of any woman.

Don't worry about how bad it is to live with your parents for a short time. Suck it up because in a few years you will be in total control of your life.

I once did that after some problems I had in my life. I got rid of all my debt. Lived very simple and owned very little for a short while. I managed to save 1000s of dollars and now I'm in control of my own business.

Just focus and suffer if you have to. Always maintain control of your life.

Never live with a woman. It just doesn't make any sense. What is the purpose of that?

Keep major relationships with women out of the picture for the next year or two. Imagine you are a boxer training for a fight. Focus and work hard! keey the women away. Trust me, when you are in a position of power and success women will come to you.

I say to myself all the time. If you can't provide for yourself and her at the same time then you need to work harder. Even if she doesn't need your money. You should always be the king.

WTF? How can this man be broke if he's making 65 grand a year?

Depends on what he defines as broke, and whether or not he's an idiot with money.

Or where he lives at. Strange that he would post his salary though.

In any event, take the pressure off yourself. Go out and talk to girls, but if you don't feel like dating, don't do it.

This girl will probably try to get back with you anyways.

If you have trouble getting over it and are sure you don't want her back anyways, just focus on all the bad stuff you mentioned.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

it depends on where he lives. If he lived in DETROIT, then 65g a year would be a LOT. If he lived in NEW YORK, 65 a year could barly pay your food bill.

i've seen houses sold in New York for 900 000. that same house in my town would be worth no more then 160 000
