Recently I have gotten back into boxing, and soon will be getting a coaches license and starting clinics (beginning of 2012). The kids at the gym are kind of, not motivated? Feels like pulling teeth to get them to do a serious workout.

I am looking to put a playlist together of motivational hip hop tunes since that's all they seem to want to listen to. Whatever makes you feel like a boss in the gym. But, no Lil Wayne, I cannot tolerate him.

Of course I am working on a good workout for them too, but I think we need some music to help them focus. Any suggestions? The younger crowd too, cause I have no Idea what the hell people listen to nowadays.

Right on man, good luck, I am by no means a pro. I know enough to help others train and get myself back into shape.

I am looking to make a good 15-20 song playlist as we only have a cd player, so I am looking for something a bit more specific. What eminem song, what 50 cent song?

hahhaha eye of the tiger is cheesy man

You can't beat some aggressive tracks to help fire you up for the gym.

Some of my favourites are:

Hollywood Undead - Hear Me Now
Hollywood Undead - Undead
5 Finger Death Punch - Burn it Down
Pendulum & InFlames - Self vs self
Marylin Manson - New ****
Eminem & co - Go to Sleep
Bring me the Horizon - Crucify me
Lost Eden - Time Damages me
Most stuff by Tactical Sekt

More low key stuff...

Batman Begins soundtrack
Rocky Soundtrack (of course!)
Jorge Quintero - 300 Violin Orchestra

And for some reason I really love warming up to Placebo - Running up that hill

The music that is source of motivation for me is Eye of the tiger and I often play the numbers of the Eye of the tiger.
I love to play this music.

I'm going to have to agree w/ Woolfgang, OzyBoy, and Jariel. Those artists along with others make up my workout lists.

I dig "Hear Me Now," but "Been to Hell" and some others off Hollywood's latest album are good to get motivated too.
