Some things to try are:

1. Change your diet. If there's excess sugar in your diet, you may become lethargic.

2. Make sure you are getting 8 hours of sleep each night.

3. Make sure you are drinking enough water each day to prevent dehydration.

Those things should help with your energy problem. As for motivation you already have one, your girlfriend.

I agree with the above post, but would like to say that just getting started will help you out. Once you start training for a few weeks, your energy and motivation should start to increase.

Most people who work out regularly find it hard to stop.

Get up early, and go jogging. It's hard to get up early, in the dark and cold, but you feel chuffing brilliant throughout the day.

headaches usually result from poor blood circulation due to either

A) your weight problem
B) smoking - ( i knew a co-worker that suffered from this)

c) both

just remember to drink more water regularly whether or not you're hitting the gym as it helps to dilute the blood and flow easier.

on the going to the gym part, join if u truly desire to workout.
if your body is feeling like crap, and your brain says go for it, but u wont nudge, then u cant do anything about it unless both agree.

i had a skinny friend that signed up for a one year contract which was $500 last year, he went once with me, after that he didnt go at all and all the money down the drain.
then i had this other friend who wanted a 1 week trial, i got him to go w/me since he was begging me to help him out, fix his gut and lose weight. But he was only willing to go that 1 time, if i wasnt there he wouldnt dare going. we got there and i briefed him which exercises are for abs, instead he just went about trying every machine.....so that was his first time and probably the last time he went to my gym.

honestly i dont even know why these 2 guys even considered working out when the motivation wasnt there in the first place...

don't be like those guys, either u join and follow a strict workout program, or you dont join at all. cause you'll just be wasting money and time if you dont follow a routine workout schedule.

Don't always be the one putting yourself out for her. Don't always be the one putting all the effort and work into the relationship. Let her, and expect her, to treat you as well as you treat her, and to improve the quality of your life.

First you got to ask yourself, why are you getting headaches? Is it from the stress during work? If it is then you must go to the gym. Working out releases stress, it makes you feel fresh after (although your muscles may be tired). Get some sleep, drink some water to rehydrate yourself, and consume more carbs and protein for energy. Tell me how it goes.
