motivation... need some advice..

welll... i want to lose like 15-20 lbs before summer hits... if i do that ill have like 5% body weight, and will look super ripped for the beach etc.. right now im skinny.. but i want the six pack to bulge out and to lose some fat weight.. but gain some muscle weight..

My prob is.. i'm always thinking yeah yeah when monday hits im gonna start working out etc etc... my prob is i have like zero motivation.. what gets u guys motivated and what kind of workouts should should i be doing that gives the most results?
Also how should I eat? Like should I eat as little as possible or what? I'm basically looking for an awesome eating/workout program + motivation... but i dont want to go out and buy special foods, should I just like cut down to only breakfast at 6.. then lunch at noon? and dont eat for the rest of the day? I tried that but I get massive headaches?

Any helpy would be appreciated.

this should be in the health forum.

When you decide you wana do something, DO IT. don't over think it. If you do start thining about it, you'll find a reason for not doing it. It should go something like this. All of a sudden it hits you; you wana go to the gym. just do it. pickup you clothes and go, don't be thinking about it.

also you might wana do it with your buddyes

PROCASTINATION is bullsh1t, your only fooling yourself by doing it. How the hell are you gonna be more fit to do something some time in the future whether it is going to the gym or approaching a girl that you fancy. Idiots cling on to cliche dates like next Monday or the start of next Month as the time when they are going to improve themselves. I hate to burst your bubble dude, but you ain't gonna change that much by then. So it is wiser to save time and start acting RIGHT NOW. That's right, prepare your credit card and register at that gym RIGHT NOW. Don't wait for the company of your friends; for all you know they might be pathetic procastinators like yourself. In conclusion, your either gonna do it NOW or NEVER. Later is never worth it, you will only have succeeded in wasting time in reaching your goals by doing that.

WHAT THE HELL!!! are you still reading this post? carry your friggin ass to the gym before I go after you and give you the whippin of the century.

man i know ALL about this mate, and trust me it's not as simple as "i think i'm gonna work out today" cuz things could go wrong. Like it could be raining out, your friend could call you up to lunch, you could get sick, sore, pull something... etc... you get the idea.

so a thing i do is make SURE i don't make excuses and push myself to do it. if i feel sore i go and don't work on that muscle, if i feel sick i question if i have the strength to just go to the gym for a bike ride or something. and further more look at the RESULTS and what will COME OUT.

like this, good toned body = increased luck with girls + more glances. Another is that it DOESN'T PAY to have that weight, you know what it does to your self-esteem and image and so you look at yourself in the mirror and go NO i'm not gonna allow myself to look like that. Then go for it again man, just tell yourself over and over the good and bad and WHY you really want to do it. Don't just say "yeah, i'll do it" you gotta be committed to the results.

good luck, i've been going lately and it's good to have motivation from friends too. that's a good side to having someone else to go with.
