You can get poisoned. But you must be drinking ridiculous amounts of water within a very short period of time (< 20 mins). Then you will die. May be.

I found the most important pieces of that article!
Fraser said the combination of taking in large amounts of water without letting any out leads to brain swelling
A Sacramento woman is thought to have died of water intoxication
I don't pay attention to anything else.

This problem is very well known among the running community. There has been a case or two where someone drank too much during a marathon and died.

Yep, you hear the same thing in the cycling community. I've seen some who had depleted so much sodium that they couldn't hold down any water. They'd drink and would throw it back up within a couple of minutes.

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

Typically by novices.
Hydration is a skill endurance athletes figure out on their own.

I can easily do a marathon with less than 4 or 5 water cups (just to wet the mouth).

One good tip if, you're out in hot weather working or hiking or whatever, is to add a tsp of salt and a tsp of sugar to a quart and drink it down after a few regular waters.
I call it "hobo gatorade."

The radio show has been cancelled, all ten staff members of the show have been fired, and there are now homicide detectives probing into the case. Those bastards deserve to roast. :nervous:

I can't wait until it's made into a "Law & Order" episode....
