Most guys aren't AFCs!

I'm forever reading articles about how most guys are AFCs, how rare DJs are etc... so the theory seems like all you have to do is mould yourself into a DJ and all these women who are sick of chumps will be throwing themselves at you because a DJ is such a refreshing change for them. Right?

Well I beg to differ. In my experience there is certainly a LOT of competition out there. As in guys who are very confident and have their proverbial sh*t together. Or at least appear to.

Don't get me wrong, I mean for sure there are lots of chumps out there, but equally there are lots of other guys who could certainly give you a 'good run for your money'. Ie strong competition.

I mean, I live in England and the places I go out to are filled with guys who seem to, on the surface at least, have it going on. They would appear to know what they're doing anyway. So God knows what the situation must be like in America, where everyone has ridiculous levels of self-confidence!

The point I'm making is any woman worth their salt has a number of options available to them at any time. A lot of these guys would appear to have the qualities of a DJ. So even once you become a fully-fledged DJ... being the best there is still isn't gonna be that easy.

How would you define a DJ? Someone who is rich? confident? good-looking? muscular? got good game? Something along those lines, right? Well guess what, lots of guys seem to have all this stuff going on already!!

So how can us 'DJs' get the edge over the competition? I want to be 'above' all these other guys who could potentially take my girl! I want to be able to relax knowing I am the number one option, not just one of many similar men who are capable of showing my girl an equally good, if not better time.

People are less confident than you think, the world teaches people to fake confidence through any means necessary.

And a DJ means diffrent things to diffrent people, for me it is being your best at all times.

Well thats true for some maybe, but not all - a lot of people really are genuinely that confident. In some cases too confident!

for what i've seen so far, it really depends on where you live... for example, americans are one of the most AFC people (no offence meant, it's just an opinion... maybe it's because of your lack of kino, but you look really shy around people)... spanish people are really confident and everything, but they have lots of problems in closing, so they get often LJBFed... french people are amongst the best don juans... germans look like they don't give a sh1t and they usually end up in LTRs... and so on

First off, you are in competition with NO BODY or any BODY. Okay. Let me break something down to you kid.

An AFc, or a chump, or a nice guy, or whoever you want to call him, is an AFC, because he does not KNOW how to handle these women out here. Nobody ever said he had low self-esteem or was poor, or didnt have any social skills, that is just the assumption that comes along with the guy. The guy could very easy be a jock, but when he gets around his girl, well, she controls his ass, that my friend, is an AFC.

A Don Juan, is a man who is independent, doesnt rely on anybody but himself. He chases his dreams. The key difference between him an the AFC when it comes to women, is that he is in control of his relationship, he takes the girl he wants, and he does not allow her to run over him, because he just aint gon tolerate that ****.

Too many men figure that they must compete with other men, and that my friend, will cause anybody to say that, I am not worthy!

The only competition is that other motafvcka in the mirror in the morning who trys to put **** in your head that you are a loser.....he must be defeated. Because HE is the only enemy.

The best never compare themselves. Only people with insecurities do this. If you look at some of the people out there that are the best at what they do .. you don't see them comparing themselves to their opposition. They may study them to get knowledge or advantages, but they don't compare themselves to them.

The attitude to have is that if they don't believe in you, then they're not worth your time, because you're all about being the best and believing in yourself to achieve what you set out to achieve.

Hey man.
I experienced the same thing as you. Being from the UK as well. When i came to this site years ago i felt like i could take the world on.

I went to university thinking i'd have easy pickings of the ladies & everyone would be completely afc. When i got there i was taken aback. Reality struck. Nearly all the guys there were confident, talking to women with relative ease, ect.

I felt out of my depth. But, as the months went on & i grew as a person, i realised that these people ARE afcs after all. Have you ever actually ease-dropped on a conversation?

The stuff the guys come out with are pathetic! I usually cringe & feel embaressed for them.

When my social circle grew & i met more & more people, I realised that most people are completly in the dark about women.

I think you're worried about the fact that you see guys talking to women, approaching them, ect. Maybe even seeing ugly, charmless morons getting with some good lookin lady.

That got to me at first. I'd think "i know better than these people. I am better than these people. How come they're getting some & i'm not".

The fact is, they're complete afcs at heart. I was intimidated to approach girls at clubs cause i'd see guys talking to them & laughing & think "how can i compete with that?".

But they'e talking utter crap! When i realised this startleing fact & found out i was actually a better person than them, i never had this worry again.

I'm going to make an argument now that England is the most AFC country in the world.

Let's take a history lesson

we'll start at the very top

The Queen, Hey majesty queen of England ruler and head of state of our fair land, from the day we were born the queen has always been there looking over us poor 'subjects', talking nonsense and directing us with boring speeches at Christmas time.

But she's more than just a queen she's a woman she's a bloody woman! at the very top! ask any five year old who's the most important person in the world and they are likely to tell you it's the queen. a bloody woman!

53 years she has ruled. ruled I tell ya' I bloody woman ruling. wtf.

you might think 'so what, I don't listen or care about the fvking queen', but buried deep down inside is still the idea that a woman (yes a woman) is at the top of the tree and ruling over us commoners.

if you grew up in the 80s like me, (I'm 26) the most important people in the country were 2 women.

I haven't even mentioned the number of gay MPs, Past Queens, the 'nanny' state, the suffrajets and being one of the first countries to give women the vote/jobs. and Victorian Britain.

How has our country been affected by this feminisation?

Queen, Elton John, Boy George, George Michael, telleytubbies, dale winton, Queer As Folk, Graham Norton, rainbow, Are you being served (I'm free!), Russell Grant, Matthew Kelly, that strike it lucky guy. Brian the big brother winner, and I'm sure loads more.

Most children's TV programs feature some kind of kamp or AFC style character.

women's soaps are full of AFCs, not that I watch them but the last time I did every character except one was a AFC.

then there is the media trend that shows all men to be stupid, everybody loves Raymond, the Simpson's, queer eye for the straight guy etc... and people wonder why boys are failing in schools.

The spice girls and grrrl power.

all this is backed up by the hundreds of women's magazines you can now get, far more then in America btw.

this is hardly setting an example of how to be a MAN, an ALPHA MALE.

Most people I know don't have a clue about DJing, they don't even have a game plan, go stand outside any club at 2am you'll see loads of guys walking out empty handed and frustrated.

their game plan is to get pissed and fall over.

universities have even more AFCs then anywhere else, that's why they make good hunting grounds.

now let me mention America, which not long ago was a land of cowboys & rebels and has yet to have a woman as it's president. To me America is a lot more manly then the UK, Australia is too, but it's hard for me to comment on another country. Americans will go down guns a blazing shouting hell yeah! and then think about it afterwards, the English will think about it for 100 years and then decide that it's been okay for 100 years so nothing needs changing.

when an English chap is in a relationship he maybe saved by his stiff upper lip and none display of emotions along with a keen interest in football and drinking with his mates.

I seriously think that you are underestimating the amount of time, effort and dedication that you need to put into becoming a Don Juan. It is not simply a case of reading the DJ bible and some Pook posts and then going off to uni thinkin you know it all.

A lot of the people on this site started off at a level well below AFC. The average man will have success here and there, but nothing consistent, some may be in LTR's etc. A lot of the people on this site were virgins, some had never even had a girlfriend or kissed a girl. For these people, it takes a considerable amount of effort just to raise themselves to the level of the average man. It is then an even greater struggle to rise above.

You need to think more long-term, friend. Put the effort in now and realise that it is not going to happen overnight. Keep your goals in mind and try everyday to get one more step close to achieving them. Keep this up, and one day you will find yourself where you want to be.

As long as you keep working on improving yourself, then it really doesn't matter what's going on with everyone else. Oh, and don't worry about the competition out there. If you're at the best you can be, and a woman wants you, then there is no other competition. Good luck, but remember that it will not happen overnight.
