at the bar with my gf. had to leave her for a few min, not my choice. come back and i see these two guys buying her shots. it irritated me. she told them she had a bf but they continued. 1-i didnt like others buying her drinks 2-she was accepting them

she said that hey - if they want to buy her drinks that saves US money if they want to buy drinks.

i would have said something but 1-i aint a big guy and 2-these were 2 big guys.

i am looking for advice so next time i can make a better example of these people - whoever they may be - but not do anything to raise the odds of getting my butt kicked.

also, is my gf right or wrong about this? guys pounce on her all the time. should she have accepted them or not?

Girl Perspective: These guys are buying me drinks while they converse with me, I like the attention that my looks warrent free stuff. This is fine.

Guy Perspective: These guys are buying her drinks so they can get her naked and get their rocks off. Her in accepting the drinks is accepting their advances. This is very uncool and disrespectful. She might as well sell her body on the street like a hooker and inform each client "that she has a boyfriend."


What you do: Nothing, don't lay guilttrips or act jealous. Recognize what she's doing, she could also save you guys money by begging on the street, but somehow its ok if guys are exchaging drinks/$ for a chance at splitting the uprights. If she acts disrespectful in other areas, you will be tipped off.

Don't try to change her, but see her for who she is...Is she worth the investment of your time...Probably, but not if she makes it a habit of disrespecting you...

Hey man, if some dude buys your chic more then one drink and she tells them that she has a boyfriend AND they're bigger then you... LET IT SLIDE. First of I'm a big guy and I hang out with two other big guys so bar fights for us, aren't so much of a big deal. If I'm ever out numbered the most important thing on my mind is to keep cool and not let things bother me. If they're like groping her or soething then it's my duty to step in or get the bar manager but drinks i got no problem with, they're doing the work for me and I'm not payin for it (In vegas the drinks get pretty pricey depending on where I'm at).Second, Her accepting it isn't so much of a big deal because as long as she knows she's leaving with you and not ont of the bull rapist guys trying to slut her out with a couple of vodka shots, then again you're in the clear. If she does respond to these guys hitting on her then what the f*ck are you doing with this slut anyway?

Regardless the point is don't worry about it, jelousy gets you no where but alone so just be cool about the whole thing and don't let it bother you.

Hmmm. Seems to me that your girl is enjoying the attention - which is just fine. Upon you return, how did the "big guys" respond? Did they continue to buy her drinks? Did she continue to talk with them?

Option 1 - Cuss her out, call her a wh*re, lose the girl.

Option 2 - Make friends with the guys. Return the favor. They bought her one, you buy them one. Have her buy them one, also.
This way, the guys aren't too pissed. Plus you teach your girl a valuable lesson in manners. maybe lose the girl.

Option 3 - Do nothing. Maybe lose the girl

Option 4 - some combination of two or more of the above, maybe lose the girl.

The future is unknown and unknowable. Treat people as you would like to be treated. Let the rest come out in the wash.

One time 2 of my friends and I got in a fight with seven other guys we kick the **** out of the, after it was over there where seven guys on the floor bleeding. We were outnumber but we din't back down. Plus we are pretty big and we been fighthing since I can remeber veteran of many many fights.


2. It's cool if she accetps drinks aslong as she really doesn't ignore you or pay more att to them. Just keep cool.

This is just about jealousy.

I agree with the advice about making friend with them. They will either get lost because they are not at all interested in that or you might just have some fun with the situation.

Your girlfriend is wrong and you need to straighten her out right away.

You need to let her know what these guy's true intentions are. You need to explain to her that sooner or later some drunk idiot isn't going to take no for an answer when she rejects his advances. Then you're going to have to step in and things are going to get real ugly.

When you tell her this, you can't be Mr. Nice Guy. You need to tell her in a stern way, just like you'd tell you're own daughter. You want to get the point across to her exactly what the possible dangers are of excepting drinks from strangers. Just look at that son of Max Factor and the shyt he did. If you haven't heard this story, then go do a search on Google.

Don't worry about looking like you're jealous. Once she actually thinks about what you tell her, she'll see that you care about her and are looking out for her safety.

Don't let her play the "Jealousy" game on you. Just let her know that as long as she's with you, YOU WILL NOT ACCEPT THAT BEHAVIOR FROM HER!!

p.s. ive found that patronizing men is the absolute money way to get rid of them. you could say something like "thanks for buying the drinks!" just act happy and they wont know whether you're serious or not. the best way to humiliate somebody without seeming like you're insecure is to say things that are confusing.

ill give you an example of how i got dissed the other day by this black sistah at college...

i wanted to lift weights at college the other night and so i went in to the weightroom and lifted with the class that was in there. i thought it was no problem since there was hardly anybody there. well as i was leaving the chick said, "hey thanks for joining our class tonight". i couldnt really decide whether she was being a smart ass or really thanking me but i figured it was the first one. confusing people is the funniest way to make fun or get rid of them IMHO.

compliment somebodys clothing and they wont know whether you're making fun of them or not.

Question is, what if YOU were buying drinks for another girl? How would she act then? would she be happy or pissed at you? I think she would be pissed at you. Why?

What if girls were buying you drinks? what does she think you should do? How would she react?

It really comes down to how she reacts. Is she flirting with them? or is she telling them thanks - and thats it?

You should also take it as a complement that your with a good looking woman.

Whatever you decide it's really not worth arguing over. Provided she not going out of her way for attnetion I'd forget about it.

I also would not go and hassle guys for wanting to buy my woman a drink - It's a compliment. Be secure with yourself.
