Hey guys. Long time member, haven't posted in a while and haven't utilized this area of the forum at all.

I'm having a mindset issue when it comes to money. Pretty much I'm stuck in the sane cycle. I make money, spend it, get a job, quit, or get fired, lose everything start over again. --I've been working as a website developer for the past 6 years. I've been doing well-ish now I decided to start up a company but I'm having issues scaling it / putting in the work.

It's like I don't have motivation to make money. It's probally because I have none so it's a snow ball effect. When you have it you have motivation to make more. Same with woman. So my issue is, how can I apply the same motivation to business as I did picking up woman. If you know my history I was having 2-3 chicks over a night, had up to 22 numbers in a day from OLD, had 13 girls over in a week. Pretty much for 5-6 years of OBSESSING over pick up / seduction I did damn well. Now I have to apply that obsession to business and money.

Any advice?

Set specific and realistic goals, break them down into smaller chunks. Have a detailed plan, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 3years, 6 years. Reward yourself at each goal completion. Etc etc etc.

You can do this with anything. So if you want financial goals then decide what it is you want to do with the money, how much do you need to save in what time period and what for. What do you need the money for. Where will you invest it? What will that investement yield to you in x period of time. What will that yield enable you to do? Plan it out step by step and follow the plan.

How are you a web developer without money? Web developers make good money typically. I'm a programmer as well and have done web development before, currently do more backend stuff but am getting ready to work on some projects at my job that will be web based.

My advice would be to limit your expenses as much as possible. Work on paying off your credit cards, car, etc and work on lowering your house payment so you can stack money.

If you work in a place where they match your 401k then put in at least the amount they match...It's free money, literally.

Look to pick up side jobs, for money, etc...

I have turned down so many side jobs I lost track of them.
