I have done some reading on taking shakes pwo-Whey+Carbs, no fat. I have tried to find specifically what an ideal quantity and mix of protein/carbs/fats for a mid-morning shake would be, to little avail. I saw in one thread that perhaps a protein/fat mix would be more suitable as at this stage it would slow digestion which would seem to me to be ideal at this time of day*. I am still at school so getting enough protein in can be a little tricky and so I thought a solution would be to take a protein shake at this time. Specifically I would like to know how much of each, protein/carbs/fats should be in this shake. To me it would seem that contrary to a pwo shake, this shake would indeed contain some fat, and little to no simple sugars. Any comments and suggestions are appreciated, thanks. :woo:

*Please note I workout in the late evening so this isnt post workout.

Size-152 at 5 9"-Ie looking to put on more muscle. Thanks for getting to the point. Protein+Fat, Roger:woo: .

As far as storage is concerned would making the mix at 8am and storing in a thermo-flask until 10.45 work? Say 30g whey+3eggs?

And specifically for warboss and any other UK guys, where can you get whey in bulk on the cheap, got 300g for £10 at tesco which seems a bit pricey, thanks in advance.

Mixing in the morning is fine. At 152 you need 300g protein a day so that's 50g per meal or so, so 1 scoop whey and 3-4 eggs is fine.

Look online for bulk whey, myprotein.co.uk and bulkpowders.co.uk, that's very cheap indeed.

Go to Iceland for eggs, 1 pound for 15 large (8g protein each)
