Right, so AFC's come here for the first time register and begin to post and ask questions. Thats fine.

What should be changed tho, is the DJ staus below member names.

For instance, an AFC joins the site and is TOTALLY out of touch with what to do with/around girls - and sosuave give him a status of 'DJ' staright away?

I mean even 'DJs' with 400/500 posts still are a bit AFC! Including myself!

Heres what the rating system should be like:

0 - 350 Posts = Recovering AFC (RAFC)

351 - 600 Posts = Reformed AFC (RAFC2)

600 - 800 Posts = DJ

800+ = Master/Senior DJ

Or maybe there should be some online test asking whether u know the stuff sosuave teaches or if you put it into practice...

Wouldn't it be the opposite in some cases? After all, the more you're on here, the less time you're spending out in the field practicing... some of the top DJ's might only have 100-200 posts... :p

Excellent point. I've barely posted at all since I finally got good.

Bishop - Thats actually a good point. Didnt think of it from that situation...

Suppose it can work either way.

A better idea would be to let our peers decide for us with votes, based on the quality or lack thereof of what we actually say. Much in the same way a thread here can be currently rated.

AT least that way new visitors to the forums can easily identify those who know what they're talking about and those who just constantly spout out canned, generic advice, or worse, just bad advice all together. It might also let people that are here to help know if they are actually helping.

I suppose it can be abused in hard feelings, or sometimes we post things we come to regret later on...but that's life. If it ain't real, what's the point?

No it is a bad idea.

The old forum had just a DJ and a Master DJ status.

That was better because a lot of pepole post anything just to acheive the master dj status.

Jour post count means ****.
