Meeting girls on Facebook?

Has anyone thought about this? It could be pretty useful. I wonder what to say when you add someone though.

What does your gut tell you? If you were a hot chick on Facebook getting 1200 messages/friend requests from stupid guys, would you see one and say, "Wow, this guy's so awesome, the way he had the confidence to approach me on a website makes me tingle down below"?

I think women are creeped out by random guys on the internet

I personally limit Facebook interactions to just people that I know. Some sites are more conducive to random people adding each other for fun, but on Facebook, I think that comes across as creepy (like the above poster said.)

If it;s just totally random it's probably no good. If you've just moved to a new city/school/company than it can be a pretty good way to meet people and start the social life going.

Yes you can meet people off Facebook, I've done it before. It not very easy, but doable. Just add them, you don't need to a send a message first with it or anything. FB chat works better than the email too I think.

a very good looking friend of mine got picked up by some big college football player via facebook. he messaged her saying "i swear i know you from somewhere" (haha she said there is absolutely no way that he knew her, so its all bs). but either way - he got her talking to him and thats all you really need

im sure the flake % is high, and approaching in field will help you grow as a DJ much more, but i have no doubt it is possible.

Facebook has an online dating ap. called AreYouInterested. It works similar to hot or not. You post your photo and women can click yes or no if they like you. If they click yes you can then send them a friends request.

None of what you come up with on a social networking site will be worth keeping. Social fun hot people like other social fun people, and the internet is not social or fun in the same sense.
