One thing I really admire about the guy is that he's 38 and in amazing physical condition that would put most 20 year olds to shame.

That would put him up a few rankings in my book. I don't always wear deodorant either. Believe it or not, pheromones are very real. Not the artificial ones that they sell online, but humans really do produce and sense pheromones. When you sweat, you release pheromones that attract women. It sounds crazy, but there are countless scientific studies that prove it to be true.

edit: Just did a little Google search and found that "McCounaghey admits he hasn't worn a scent or donned deodorant since he was 14-years-old. That's when he discovered his natural odor turned the ladies on."

Seriously, you guys should try not wearing deodorant/cologne. I've been told I smell really good also, when not wearing any scent. In this case, I think this McCounaghey guy is cool. I think there was another member on Sosuave who also talked about this concept before.

Fortunately, I don't think he's anyone's "idle." I believe the word you were trying to use is "idol," which is used in the title of the show, American Idol. Idle means when something is stationary and just stays in one place for a long time; for example, when you keep your car idle.

There's many scientific studies that prove that particular humans produce hormones that can be great smelling scents.

However, I wouldn't advise anybody to try what Matt is trying here. There's other "scents" that can be produced when sweating that by not wearing deodorant would make the "great smelling scents" a little sour.

I also wouldn't believe everything you hear from actors, meaning actors need to say different things from a P.R. standpoint to stand out from the pack and remain at the top.

Hormones are great smelling scents, but by not wearing deodorant and sweating, it'll be like putting cologne on and not washing your azz...at the end of the day, you still stink.
