I've got a buddy who got married 10 months ago because she was pregnant (I know, a bad idea). Anyway, the arguements have escalated and she's thrown out the D word a couple of times already. He's been going to anger management classes and 5hit, but she's not doing a fvcking thing to help the relationship. He's currently staying with his father.

For those of you who have had counselling, did it have any kind of positive effect on your relationship, or did it do nothing?

I haven't been trough it, but in the present cas, it's a lost cause. Tell him the D word is the only word he should know.

Mine did not.

And yes, it is mostly a ploy to bend the man to the woman's needs.

it seems to be the man who is wrong 95% of the time, unless you get a good counselor.

Even male counselors a like this. No shortage of CPT-SAVE-A-Hoe's in our society.

411 on counseling

This is not a marriage forum!!......but........

Tell your buddy to go to www.retrovaille.org

It will help. I have done the counseling thing for years and I ended up getting divorced anyways. It helped for a while but not for the long haul
