Today I was doing squats with a pad on the bar that goes across my back. I was only doing reps of 225lbs and I noticed later that day that I had something like bruise marks that outline the bar on my back. Does anyone else get this? and how can I prevent it?

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

nothing serious i noticed "pads" of any kind do more damage than pure metal, not that i pad for squats ( wtf )
but when i do machine calf raises there used to be pads on them and i always had bruised shoulders, now the pads were removed for some reason and i just stuck a thin ass sweat towel around my neck and all it is is pain but i dont see any ruptured blood vessels at my skin.
