Hey,

I've decided to stop smoking it because It's starting to get out of control both financially and socially.

For one thing, I dont feel "up to the game" when stoned, and typically that effect lasts me througout the whole day if I've smoked. Also, my motivation to meet new people isn't very good when i've been smoking, so it's starting to stand in the way of meeting women, and new people in general.

It's been about 24 hours since I last smoked, and I'm already starting to feel a bit anxious about the whole situation, not really physically like when you need a cigarette, but just the habit or need to smoke pot because otherwise I probably would have been high today (yes, I've been smoking every day for about a year, with previous history of Marijuana use througout the years)

So anyways, I'd really appreciate anyone's input on this. Has anyone ever had to go through this and experienced similar symptoms, and how you coped with them?

You need a replacement behavior. Something to take the place of pot. Ironically, the people at AA meetings will tell you to smoke cigarettes until you get one year of sobriety, but that's just replacing a bad habit with another (probably more addictive) bad habit. I recommend something you can chew on, like gum or toothpicks. So whenever you get a craving to smoke pot, stick some gum in your mouth and eventually it will become second nature.

Never having personally done any drugs, I'd tell you to stay strong.

Sure, this sounds like tough advice, but I've got an addiction too, I'm a kleptomaniac. I've always got that urge to just steal something, but, you've got to suck it up. Tough it out. Quitting outright will make you that much stronger than "weening" yourself off of it.

100% accurate. Sorry man, there is no other way to put it. It all comes down to willpower. How bad do you want it? If you can't do it, it just shows how weak you really are, like all the other addicts. Is that who you want to be?

It sucks, man. There is no way around it. You are looking at probably 4-5 days of *extreme* irritability and poor sleep. Some Marinol or some pot brownies would ease the pain, but neither is easy to get and they are kind of cheating anyway. Good luck. You will be a lot better after about a week.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Do some aerobic excercise, study, anything to get your mind off of pot. And remember, pot isn't nearly as addictive as other drugs. It's al in your head.

yeah I went though that whole thing. If your up to it just go cold turkey, your not gogin to vomit and get shakes and dillusions off any amount off pot withdrawal.
If not you might have to ween your self off it... but you might get back on it.

TBH, its in your head.

Don't tell me its not, I toked daily 2-5 times a day then quit cold turkey for a month. My first time burning was yesterday. Some days that I didnt burn I would find it hard to go to sleep in the past, but with my one month break just now I just did it (actually was forced to, went to VA had no connect), but now that I've found my connect its back to sweet Mary Jane.

Why don't you just NOT smoke when you sarge, wouldn't that be easier?

Marijuana withdrawl is a learned conditional behavior (I think I just made that up but it makes sense). Society has just taught and conditioned you to think you are going to go through withdrawals if you don't have a fix. Marijuana isn't physically addicting, those who become mentally dependent on it are just weak willed.
