also the lowering testesterone levels is a myth, no studies have shown that weed affects estrogen and testeterone levels.
I heard this from many sources including Dr. Drew (yes, on Loveline... hey it was late and nothing else was on the radio  ) so I'm sure there have been studies to back it up. I'm going to assume a doctor knows more about the medical effects of MJ than a bunch of Don Juans, no offense
However, it would appear that the evidence is still somewhat in question:

Of course, that comes from NORML so in the end its still a crap shoot.
Its good for you if you don't smoke like a homeless man.
That is BS though, flat out. Sorry man, I smoke all the time still and even I know its bad for you. You're inhaling smoke filled with hundreds of thousands of different chemicals (a majority of which scientists have yet to identify!) Regardless of the lung damage and increased cancer risk, I'm sure you have no idea what is going on inside your body when you smoke weed. I DO believe that there can be psychological benefits from smoking weed - it actually helped me out with depression believe it or not... even though it is classified as a depressant. Go figure! It helps with the musical creativity sometimes too.
If you wanna do it that's your decision but don't kid yourself by thinking it is actually good for you. Everyone has their vice, and MJ is not as bad as alcohol (or cigarettes IMO) but its not like MJ has vitamin C in it
