Ok, so I broke up with my gf yesterday. I have some great pictures of me making out with different girls. Would putting those pictures on myspace be a DHV or a DLV? Too man-whorish?

lol, it's not because of her. I had the pictures for awhile, but having a girlfriend was the reason i didn't put them up. I'm over her, and just thought having pictures of me with hot girls is better social proof than 12 head shots of myself.

It's myspace for the love of Christ! People actually use that **** for dating?

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

You don't need to prove anything.

Err...ok then.

And I don't use myspace for dating. I use the real world, but since most girls have a myspace, it's a good way to keep in touch with people I've already met.

I dunno about you, but the more pics I see of a girl being permiscious with other guys doesn't make me want to get closer to her.

Go ahead man, its good for social proof.

Who knows, maybe after seeing those pictures in myspace, your girl might get jealous and want you back.

Technically, she ain't his girl anymore.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

yeah some people do. I don't personally but its a good way to keep contact with females. I say go for it man. and if some chick leaves a negative comment about it, probably means she's jealous. Just ignore it and make her say something to your face about it. or its a great opportunity for C&F. <oh god, i'm starting to use sosuave lingo. also let us know what happens, or at least me.

Or maybe all the other girls that he would like to keep in contact with will see it and not give him the time of day after that because they don't want to be his next photo-op.

A universe...where heartbreak and sadness have bee
I look at a thread like this and I wonder, "What is the intent here?" What concern is it of anyone here what you put on your MySpace page?

Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.
