In the last week I've totally rewamped my style. I'm now going for a permanent intelligent/scruffy look with a 5'a clock shadow.

Now for those who have that scruffy look, how do you guys maintain your beard so it looks like a 5'a clock shadow all the time?

On my electric razor there's a little flip up attachment for trimming sideburns, beards, mustaches, or whatever the hell else you grow on your face. I find if I use it on my entire face it leaves a nice prickly scruff. I'm now clean shavin' but I find it works very well and doesn't irritate.

Ouch how can you use that thing for the rest of your face? I can just picture my face getting all raw and red using that.

I saw a beard trimmer in Sears whose packaging stated that there is a special attachment for just such a purpose. Can't remember the brand name, but you'll probably find it because the statement is very clear.

it depends on how fast your hair grows, trying shaving at night instead of the morning.

I go with the grain when I shave. Leaves some stubble.
