Low point, stuck

For background, I sucked in high school with girls. It did real well in college and the year after.

Right now I'm in the best shape of my life 5'11, 190 11% body fat. I'm a cop, which was my dream. Making good money and benefits. I'm 27.

Problem now is I'm working midnights with wednesday and Thursday off. On top of that, I work in the "hood", so I don't meet any women on duty thAt I would even think about dating ha ha.

Another problem is I'm an alcoholic, recovering. I don't drink now but I don't go to the bars. And no I can't go and just not drink.

So where do I meet girls now? I haven't asked a girl out in months, but I honestly haven't talked to a girl I was interested in in that long. I was interested in my buddy's girl's friend, but she won't hook me up with her for some reason. So I don't know where to go from here.

The circumstances are different but I'm basically in the same situation. In good shape, healthy, happy and have money to burn. But haven't had sex for 6 months and am just not meeting any women (in a foreign country with no social circle and no wingman).

I'm sure if I was in contact with women I'd be doing well with them but just not meeting them at ll. Sucks dude.

Church would be ok. It I'm not religious at all. And gym I get for free due to work but I only see people from work there obviously.

I may try Internet dating but it just seems so pathetic.

Church and internet dating are both good options. A lot of women go to church trying to meet men. There are singles ministries. Just don't get with a chick that is too religious. Also, I think online dating has pretty much lost its stigma at this point. I would venture to guess that after mutual friends/acquaintances, it's probably as good a method as any for meeting people after college.

I wouldn't touch church. Women there are looking for a religious man that god will smile on. If you're not religious, it would waste their time.

Hardly.

It's a great tool for dating, gaining skills, accommodating unusual search criteria (in your case work hours). I would recommend match.com rather than the others. Tons of hungry women on that site.

In my city, the number of options for a woman once she keys my stats (which are quite typical for a woman to want - height, weight, body, hair, income, location ...) yields about 3 pages of options. Where my typical search yields about 70 pages of options. Its totally a man's market.

Is it a buffer, maybe, but it's a fantastic tool to use to have some fun and get started within a couple days.

All this said, given your age and your obvious appeal to women (profession, health ...), you may just want to do the DJ boot camp. That will force you to meet tons of women in a variety of places.
