Low Carb diet update

its been one full week since my body has entered ketosis.

I started at 201 lbs 12-29-06 weighed in at 8:15 am

this morning 1-5-06 at 8:15 am..weight in at 192.5 lbs.

Im assuming some is water weight and the other half is fat.

I look thinner in the face and stomach..and I put on the same jeans as I wore then..they were snug..now they are loose.

I am sore....from yesterdays workout..my strengh was the same...however..getting up reps 6 to 12 were harder..but the strengh hasnt taken a hit.

So far so good. I should see the most rapid weight loss for the first 3 to 4 weeks....probably close to 20 lbs.

then it will curtial...and I will up my carbs to 50 to 70 a day..lower my fat slightly and hit the gym harder.

Haven't seen you around in a while but glad you're back and on the right track. One thing I noticed while I was in ketosis was awful breath. Learn to love Altoids.

thanks..I came back for the health and fitness forum...

reason is because there isnt one way of doing things here so its fun to discuss it.

but yea your right...I can smell it sometimes....20 min after brushing...the bad breathe retruns.

but ill trade it for the rapid fat loss :)

well I just try to get 1800 to 2200 cals from mostly fat and protien.

I eat 3 to 5 times a day..pending on meal size..eat whatever..i try to get atleast 1 salad in for veggies..and maybe some green beans.

so far today..I have eaten 3 beef hotdogs...

i will probably eat 2 more at lunch with a protien shake..then a salad after work...and maybe some pork closer to bed time.


its just about keeping ur carbs down..today ill go about 30..since I worked out yesterday..but tomorrow back to 15 to 20..and 30 again for workout sunday..and the day after.

also no sugar.

I also take a multivitamen
5 htp
and fiber pills
