Low Bar Placement question

Honestly, I don't know where the bar is supposed to sit on my back for low bar placement for squats. Currently, I place the bar on the 'groove' in my back just below the traps. Is it where it is supposed to sit?

Yes. I am still unclear as the exact position of the bar on a low bar squat, which is why I am asking.
