I must confess I don't have too much experience with "true love", or simply mutual (extremely) high interest level and attraction (over time).

A strange phenomenon seems to happen when you "make love" versus have sex with a woman. You will likely be face to face and she will be kissing you. It sort feels like a mushroom (or salvia divinorum) trip where you disconnect from all else while connecting to them. There is almost an element of the Divine, as if it's a religious experience. Time stands still. If you have sex with 25 women it might happen once or twice. Though words can't quite describe it, both of you agree that you "felt it", and afterward they often start talking ragtime (hence the term "fvck her brains out"). That's when they reveal their innermost secrets.

Is this just hormones playing tricks? Has anyone else experienced this?

PS - After writing the above I found this quote that seems to describe it:

"The high art of making True Love is mystical and miraculous beyond comprehension. It inundates your entire being. It delivers you - body and soul - to unimagined heights of ecstasy. The discovery of the key to the union of spirituality and sexuality is at once a path to, and a gift of Enlightenment." - Lonny Brown Ph. D

It is hormones, in part. The problem is that, in a time where everyone can see the life of others, people are always jealous of what seems to be a bigger, better love. Truth is what you describe is infatuation. After a while this might die down. Nonetheless, love can remain. It's just that we, women in particular, expect too much from love. It's not being swept of your feet every time. Love is much much deeper than that. I'd say you can only love a woman after having been with her for 10 years. Anything before that is infatuation.

I saw it more as a connection to God YAboi.

Also, given how rare it is, there is no way you could get married first and find enlightenment.

More here.
