I was 233 and now I'm down to 210lbs. And I'm working hard to lose more weight.

So - either my confidence has gone up because I have lost weight or something crazy is going on. But through the Internet, friends, etc. I have been going out with women left and right. These are HB5/HB6 level type of girls but hey it's better than nothing. It's also great practice for the HB9/HB10s. The girls are getting aggressive with me, which honestly hasn't happened since college and that was a long time ago. I'm fine tuning my game by making fun of these girls, challenging their opinions, and throwing in a little humor. Honestly it's really easy. I'm going to keep hitting the gym every day and hopefully can lose another 20 pounds by the end of the year. My goal is to be down to 190 by New Years Eve. That would be awesome! I know that I only have 6 weeks.

I just wanted to thank STR8UP, Rollo, Kontroller, Collosus, Vulpine, Sampasade, Alexander The Great, and all the other senior DJs on this site. It's very satisfying to read this information and execute on it in real life. Take care gentlemen.

I have never had more confidence in my life than when I learned how to eat right and started hitting the weights. I'm gonna get back into a bulking routine myself when I get back into town next week.

With women it builds your attraction value exponentially. You look good, you feel good. Women want to be around men who look and feel good.

Congrats, and keep up the good work.

Heh. I always feel miserable and exhausted when I get out of the gym. The only thing that keeps me going is the knowledge that I'd weigh 300 lbs if I didn't.

I despise the hour / hour and a half I spend at the gym every day.

Great work DJArlington.

Cardio is no fun at all for me during the first ten minutes but after that my joints seem to get loose and I go into auto pilot and its a great time.

Cardio oxygenates the body, keeps the cortisol levels low, and makes your mind sharp as well as burns the fat.

So if thats what you did thats great if on the other hand you just ate less thats great too.

Its all good.

I find that if I don't exercise my mental state deteriorates. Almost immediately after my workouts, if I'm in a funk, I'll start to feel better.

There really are no good excuses for not working out. The benefits are tangible and worth the effort.

And keep it up DJArlington! Complacency is your enemy.

Grats DJArlington, I've been kind of the same way lately so I know what you mean (I'm down to 175lbs. from 205lbs.).

Just this last weekend I was at a party and pretty much all the girls agreed that I was definitely better looking (I was also pretty sharply dressed), and to my chagrin I was told a few of the gay guys there thought I was hot :p

Keep up the good fight -- this is what they mean when they talk about self-improvement.

The cardio/ low cal thing isn't working for me. Not dropping the weight I would like to and it's killing my moods (the calorie restriction) so I'm gonna go to a bulking routine. They say you can't lose fat and gain muscle at the same time but when I was doing a high protein diet trying to bulk up I definitely put on muscle and lost fat, so I'm going back to that routine.

There's no better feeling in the world than to watch your body fill out and your face start to chisel up. You look different, you carry yourself different, and other people can tell BIGTIME.

How about a high-protein and moderate diet with a high intensity weightlifting regimine supplemented with cardio as you drink alcohol or eat too much?

That's what I just started. We'll see.

Weight loss will make ALL fat people bone-able. It's truly amazing. I have seen before/after photos of fat chix I wouldn't even THINK of touching.............to, "I'd bone her in a second!" especially after seeing the post weight loss photos. Humans are not designed to stay obese. Why do think all the people who live past 100 years old are not fat? Fat kills.

There are very few guys who can be out of shape and still pull lots of hot girls. It happens now and then (I've seen it) but it's rare.

Most of us MUST work out, and be physically fit.

When I start getting fat, I get less attention from women - it's way obvious. There is literally a small 5lb window that if I cross, the attention stops, and if I go below it comes back.

A large part of it has to do with facial features. If my face is pudgy, chicks don't like it. If it's cut - with sharp edges, defined jaw, etc - women notice.

Women check out men's bodies too of course, so yeah bro - keep up the good work. And when you go out, make sure to wear form fitting clothes to show off your build. The cool thing is, the shirts that are in style for men these days seem to be better for this than they used to be.

You essentially upped your VALUE in her eyes by showing her that, if she wants you, she has to at times do things that you like to do. You are SOMETHING after all. You are NOT FREE. If she wants to hang with you, it's going to cost her something — time, effort, money.

That's the direction I will be going. Last time I didn't do any cardio and I still cut up pretty good and put on some muscle. I now have a recumbent bike right in front of the big screen so I think I will try to get a good 20 minutes a few times a week this time around. Also need to get on the leg workouts. that's what will really lean you out and bulk you up.

I was hovering close to the 200lb mark for awhile and that's just way too big for me. I dropped to around 190 and that was much better, but I have a round head and having that little extra chin wasn't flattering.

Now I'm around 185 and my face is much more cut. Put up a new pic on Myspace and judging by the comments the ladies are diggin' the fact that I dropped the extra 5.

Yep. I get the most double-takes from women when I'm below a very specific weight threshold. When I'm above it, I don't 'pull' as well. When I'm below it, I get much more unsolicited attention. Amazing how that works.

Yeah the extra chin thing is bad - you'll be dead in the water with that. It's harder to get rid of when you're older too, that's why it's best to keep in under control now.

I really need to take advantage of the fact that I look a lot younger. People peg me for late 20's now. I can imagine that if I were totally ripped the attention I would get from looks alone would be off the charts.

i can make a chart that shows the attention from women (and the way they look) according to the shape I was in.

3 years ago I was about 200 pounds, overweight.. i'm 5'8.. and i had some success becuase i'm not ugly, i dress nice... but i was basically, to use a horse racing term, a "claimng king"... srubbing the mid packs if that. i mean I had some decdent looking women, but there was alwyas a BIG flaw. like she was a drug addict. or she was broke. or stupid. in other wrods, there was something in her to make her look at me. i mean, I had things going for me, but i was overweight.

i wouldn't be caught dead with the women I used to date 3 years ago now. from 5'8 200 pounds, down to 5'8 155 back up to 5'8 about 185, but now muscle.

the quaity of women i date or dated are better (for the nost part).. it's a difference between going to the club and hoping to score, and going to the club, AND KNOWING that women will go out of their way to talk to you. it's just a matter of if you want to talk to them or not. It's nice to date a
woman for a year and a half and you still **** like rabbits because she thinks you are very sexy.

Actually, my GF and I got into our very first REAL knock down drag out arguement in a year and half monday. We were out at a resturant, just the two of us.. it's been a while since we have just been out. So we are sitting there, and this woman... i'd be lying if I said she wasn't smoking hot....just deciedes.. "yeah.. I"m going to start talking to your man like you aren't here".

I mean I wasn't interested, but i'm not an ******* (all the time).. i'll talk to someone. As many random women i gamed in the past i know how hard it is. anyway, well my GF decided it took me too long for me to tell her that I was with my GF... okay, I never told her. that's more of truth. I mean... I see her point, but at the same time.. WTF do you think she is my mom? should I HAVE to tell you that? I didn't slide her my number or anything.

so she is pouting the rest of the itme and we get in the car ad she just freaking flips. tells me to go back in there and **** her if i want to (she better stop playing. she was hot).. and i mean she was MAD. I'd never seen her tha tmad before. went to sleep early and everything.

after we calmed down and talked aobut it.. I said look.. i want to put this in perspective... you are mad becuase women want to **** your boyfriend. would you rather have the alternative? And that was pretty much that.

it's a good problem to have. at hte core, no woman wants no man another woman doesn't want. She gets off on telling people she's my GF, and is mad she didint' get the chance to.

Channel your excited feelings into positive thoughts and behaviors. You will attract women by being enthusiastic, radiating energy, and becoming someone who is fun to be around.

OTOH, it's a hell of a lot easier to improve your mindset and how you approach women than it is to undo years of poor eating choices and/or a less than active lifestyle.

And again, your mindset wont miraculously melt away the gut you've got when you're down to your trunks at the beach. If it was easy everyone would have a great body.

My experience is that.. For most people, trying to keep it slightly below your daily calorie intake (meaning approximately 500 calories) is good. Eating like a rabbit (salad salad salad and those "lose weight" drinks) doesn't really work.

You didn't get fat in a week, so don't try to lose it in a week either.. It's also important to remember that this is a lifestyle change.

I've been everything, from a rail-thin 135 lbs; a muscular 170 lbs, which was put on in about 4-5 months; and a fat 225 lbs. Everything everyone stated in this thread is true, but because 60% of adults in America are overweight, I think a muscular man has more value than he ever has before.

As dumb as it sounds, I will say this: I'm grateful that I got to experience the many sizes that I have.

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.
