Losers: Why are some girls attracted to them?

I don't get it. (I mean I do to a point where people are looking for a challenge or a project) but do you ever wonder why some girls are drawn towards losers? Guys loaded with tattoos, working in crap jobs or no job, do drugs, look like a meth head or any of the combination and more.

I'd guess girls who like them feel they have nothing in common and aren't secure with a guy who has things going for him but would feel better being with someone whom is below even them and or they think they can "change" or shares the same lifestyle, vices as they do.


I mean wouldn't common sense tell a person after a while WTF am I doing??

Not that they actually deserve someone with things going for him after dating loser after loser..I can understand one by mistake but man some girls love to just be garbage. I guess thats life and how things balance out

Low Self Esteem. Yes, even attractive women suffer from it (usually daddy issues) so don't be surprised when you see an 8/9/10 with a loser.

Combine that with the fact that for women (and increasingly, "men"), emotion is far more powerful than logic. "Bad boys" make their gini's tingle, simple as that.

A woman with a history of loser exs is a big red flag, unless you are a loser too or are just in it for a quicky, then it's a green light, just don't get too attached.

They want to be the girl, that changed him for the better. It's their motherly instinct.

To them these type of guys are exciting and adventurous, a challenge for them. More than anything, it gives THEM a feeling of power. That's why being perfect is boring, and not attractive. Women always want guys who are indifferent.

It's gina tingle. As disgusting and ugly as the guy might appear to us (read my signature thread lol), rest assured that he has at LEAST ONE physical feature that turns her on. The attraction might even be unconscious on her part. It could be his height, jaw line, broad shoulders, etc.

THEN, after the looks part, you could add in the "project, fixer upper" theory.

It's a gross oversimplification to say she ONLY chose him because he is a fixer upper. Plenty of guys that need "work" don't get (much or any) female attention.

You could argue that most nice guys are fixer uppers of a different (perhaps more responsible) type. Do most women want take these guys on as projects? Probably not, unless he has money and she wants to control him to get what she wants.

You're not going to like this. This thread title should be "Why do girls like guys who I think are losers, but not ME?"

First of all, you're judgmental. You don't actually know any of these guys, but label them as losers. But somehow you're the one not getting laid, even though I guess you see yourself as a "winner". What are you winning exactly?

Sure, there are girls with issues and maybe it's not a wise decision for them to be dating these guys. Then again, can you think of anybody who only makes wise choices? People go with people who make them feel good and you don't need money, good looks or even intelligence to make a girl tingle. These things are great to have for yourself and your life, but they're not going to directly get you laid.

Drop the frustration and you'll be a lot better off.

I'm not sure what grants you the ability to brand someone a loser or not. A loser to me is someone who is not happy with their current life and they take no responsibility for its status and they make zero effort to improve it. It has nothing to do with finances or tattoos or even using [certain] drugs. Let people do what they want. As long as they're not hurting themselves or others, what do you care?

Yes there is a line. But they guy with unemployed guy with basement tattoos doing meth in a trailer park is probably not going to be banging a 10 while she's in grad school.

I once had a friend who was extremely caring and outgoing and loved everyone in his life. He was really into pills and unemployed, so perhaps you would have considered him a loser. He was dating a girl who was easily at least a 9. On the surface, it'd be easy to see that and be upset, but she was also into pills and she slept around like you wouldn't believe.

Point is, don't worry about it or judge others.

He hit the nail on the head, it's a young girl thing, women who are 30 on up usually are over the bad guy fetish, but the thing is usually women who are done, already felt the cold hard effects of the bad guy, cause they usually get knocked up and have a kid or a few from the bad guy, then when the bad guy dips, they are ready for the nice guy, but by that time the nice guy has flourished in his career and has the women he want and the woman who had the bad guy fetish regrets it deeply being that she will pretty much live the rest of her days never been married.

I believe it's truth to that, like women who are attracted to guys who beat them physically, why would I want a girl that goes back to being punches everyday? If I'm getting beat everyday common sense would tell me to run away not stay. It never fails these chicks always crash and burn in the end messing with the losers, it's cool to have jerk tendencies but you to have to be a full time jerk, that's the only thing I take from the jerk is certain points and that's it.

I've been wondering about this issue myself. I mean I'm not a big shot or anything but for 23 i got my **** together. I make an honest living, have my own vehicle, and place to stay. I was talking to this one girl for awhile, we f@cked and the whole nine yards. All of a sudden she says she doesnt wanna be physical with me anymore, but we can still be friends. Ha yeah ok b!tch. Anyway come to find out she had a "friend" and another guy come live with her and her roomate because she"s "trying to help them out". I guess they are recovering drug addicts I mean heroin, pills, you name it. She recently called me and said that her roommate and the other guy started dating, and the two guys have been using so she moved out of the apartment. She wanted to know If I wanted to hang out again, and im like "No, you ****ed up a good thing. Not gonna be your shoulder to cry on while you're out f@cking these @ssholes" click, end of phone call. Bottomline I don't get why girls are so attracted to d-bags, and why they're willing to throw a good thing away for the next d!ck that crosses their path.

I've got my fair share of tattoos also, drive a truck, workout. My point being is could come across as a "bad boy" to certain people. Even if you have the look it still doesn't matter, girls are attracted to guys with issues and inner demons. They get a sense of righteousness or something if they feel they can fix these guys, I don't get it.

If you knew the amount of tattooed, crap-or-unemployed, drug addicted, tweaking losers that don't get pvssy that I know you wouldn't think that.

Those type of guys ARE NOT getting the prime trim. They just aren't. They may get more than your socially introverted nerd but not more than everyday guys.

I do think that a lot of girls who are attracted to dirtbag types had dirtbags for fathers. Most girls grow up with their father as the role model for males.

I totally agree with this. I have always thought that the pickup community completely overstates the extent to which women go for bad guys. They have a certain appeal, but I'm just not seeing it happen in real life, at least not as much as you would expect reading this forum.
