LOOSEN UP, dont be so nervous or tense about certain situations. Just do whatever it is you wish to do without waiting for anyone's approval.

it's almost like drinking booze and gettin drunk. you can act like the biggest **** in the world after this, carefree attitude, completely loosened up to the extreme (almost!) and not having worries about consequences of your actions. by the time you sober up, you come to your senses and find out you fuked a girl and got her pregnant...well tooo bad you drank the booze.

the best solution is to go w/o the booze so you can still think straight!!

When a carefree attitude is in place, you will be MORE FUN to be around, you will be MORE CONFIDENT, you will be MORE OUTGOING, you will be LESS WORRIED...what if they dont like me..what if i do smoething stupid...what if...WHAT IF YOU NOT WORRY SO MUCH!!

the more you worry, the more your brain is drained of energy to think straight, you will flooded w/thoughts that make you so nervous, everyone will notice it and find out your not fun to be around.

you go to a club, you're nervous as hell, you just stand in the corner the whole night and come back home. well if you LOOSENED UP AND FORGOT YOUR WORRIES, you would've been able to get on the dance floor w/some HB's and possibly even gotten pu$$y that night!!

my 2 cents

Good tip man.

I noticed that I generally feel better when I'm carefree.

Today for example, when I was going to school, I saw the subway car had the doors opened, people were running to enter the car. I know that the doors are usually closed when all people already entered, so I just walked slowly and made it. This feeling of carefreeness followed me the whole day (it followed the subway thing)
I guess u feel cooler when u r carefree, maybe even superior (cuz u are ready to handle everything that will be thrown at u).

As u said, it involves not caring about what others might think of u and just do what u want to do (as long as it doesn't involve harming others)

carefree=attractive for sure.

good tip.

Great tip, you're right, stay cool

I remember many years ago -- actually not too many years ago -- when lots of little things got under my skin. I've never had a volitile personality, but I'd worry, and worry, and worry.

Couple years ago I got out of a stressful profession, went to grad school and changed careers. I totally mellowed out.

Most importantly I learned to take my dealings with women on a much cooler basis. If they shut my a$$ down, I moved on. If they liked me, I enjoyed it but didn't make it the center of my universe. If I didn't get dates for awhile, I found the gym or something else to do by myself and did it all with a smile on my face.

There's not a woman on this planet that is worth building your life around or worrying endlessly about.

Being relaxed is huge in life ... it also makes you live longer, hundreds of studies have shown that.

that's right dudes! dont be too concerned about everything that happens in life, you just gotta relax and enjoy it sometime

as they say "take a chill pill"

e.g. A party one night, i had to take this AFC w/me to where the party was, this AFC was my friend's friend. my friend was gonna be late so he wouldnt be able to meet up w/him. Plus this i know this AFC knew how to get there, he was just too chicken to go out alone. he knows the ppl at the party, he met them before. when we got there, wherever i would go, he would just be following me. i can tell he was nervous and tense. i thought he was pretty annoying to be around, after he got a few drinks he "loosened up" stopped worrying, cause he was buzzed and was more fun to be around. an AFC is still an AFC even w/ booze..
anyway b ack to the story, i left early cause they ran out of booze and the party wasnt as good as last time's. the afc vomitted and passed out on the floor. then that pu$$y lost his phone that night, and asked my friend if i took it.....i go "WTF? is you friend high?? why the fuk would i take his phone!" losing his phone is not my concern, even if i did take his phone that night, he can still go fuk himself.

but yea thats how it goes.

I notice you get more respect from others when you are loosened up or carefree. I work in this office as a graphic designer, with other graphic designers, i get paid...they're unpaid interns.
well tha's cause i asked for pay. anyway this particular sales rep, he's pretty selective to who he talks to, shows me respect, he perceives me as an important person. these other interns in his eyes are AFC's you could say. but then again, having a cellphone and getting called up occasionally by friends also make you seem important. not like i have a lot of friends but eheh it works to my benefit.

in school i get respect from ppl, i intimidate them so usually they might not approach me unless i approach first.

yea, i guess it all depends on how you dress, your image, the look on your face, you're actions, and your loose/carefree attitude. You will get respect if you act a certain loose/carefree way

The main thing is NOT having to qualify yourself to ANYONE.

We are told to build up confidence and be alpha etc. etc...
Well what if you run into the captain of the football team or some guy that aced the SAT. How are you supposed to feel alpha around them?

YOU DON'T TRY TO PROVE YOURSELF, that's how. You already know you are tha shyt, and you don't need to qualify it to anyone. You live in YOUR reality, and everyone else lives in theirs. In YOUR reality, you are the man, and YOUR reality is the only reality that matters to you at the end of the day.

Good stuff. A lot of people ask me for advice on specific things: "What do I wear? What do I say? How do I act?" I tell them, "Don't worry about it, just HAVE FUN and it'll be great!"

As long as you're having a good time and being your DJ self, everything works out.

Splendid tip...

The only problem with that tip is loosening up isn't automatic when you tell yourself to loosen up...it takes practise...

I think the best way to obtain a carefree attitude is tensing up the body and then relaxing. The professional term for that technique is called "progressive muscle relaxation". The most extreme example of that technique is electric shock theraphy. The most common example of that technique is called exercise.

and the best method i've had for tht in the past was just - lack of sleep.

u ask whhaaaa....?

well well, when you dont get enough sleep and you're not as sharp or aware of what's going on around you.
usually you end up not caring about anything.
and when that happens, you worry less cause generally you're tired and wont bother wasting energy thinking useless things in your mind when the mind isnt as sharp.

dont take this tip seriously, but it has proved to work for me in the past...not like i did it on purpose, but i was a late sleeper

Oh yes, lack of sleep most definetly produces a non obsessive mentality. The same effect is seen when consuming huge amounts of alcohol.

Taking focus away from a problem results in bliss and it also results in having a new perspective of that problem when it is analyzed again.

But...

When it comes to getting a confidence boost, exercis is better than booze and lack of sleep.

Exercise produces positive thougts and positive thougts produce exercise (a better self image)...

When I don't get enough rest, my eyes get dry and irritated for some reason. I end up walking around with a squint/furrowed brow, and end up looking aggressive. Not to mention my grumpy mood. At least that's how I think it goes for me. So you're right - it isn't for everyone. ;)

I entered a state in my mind that I do not even get sleep! I dream in this reality that it is real. When I lie down I only lie down to rest my body and repair the damge I have down to it throughout the day. But my mind is still awake, thinking up a myriad of creative thought then I start to get lost, but as soon as I start to float into oblivion my mind wakes up again, and more ideas pop up. This is soo wacked, I do not know how I acheived this state but only became aware of my surroundings like a females intuition was bestowed upon me. When I slept before I could feel no emotions or ideas but stead total darkness, maybe a dream or two but that it.
In my new state, I have become like a buddha and whats wierd about it is that I am totally energized when I decide to get up from bed. I believe I have acheived what no man can achieve right a feeling of spiritual enlightenedment. My mind is like an enerizer battery that it keeps going and going and going, everlasting. No more falling into oblivion.

it's almost the same fear as stepping outside your door.

every step could be your last. what's the point of living if you dont take risks?? u just gotta enjoy life to the fullest even if you're life is short lived

As a poem i was reading in english class today...

living a short life & being remembered for your actions & as a hero in other's eyes

is definitely much better than...

living a long life which is boring and lousy and unfullfilling/not fun.

this poem was talking about athletes, but it should relate to everyone even if they may not be an athlete.

isnt the best part of life is to create memories to cherish??
with great memories you will always remember the good times.
with lousy memories, you'll have nothing to remember but the bad times.
