LOOKS - Face VS. Body?

For men, do you think it's more important to be really muscular and in shape, or is the hair and face just as important?

For women, would you rather date a girl with an amazing body and an ugly face, or is a pretty face essential?

From what little i know, I've seen plenty of muscular guys with average or below-average faces who still get plenty of chicks, while a pretty face is important if the body doesn't do it for me I won't be interested. So I guess my answer would be: body first, all around.

One compensates for the other. Women dont require pretty faces from men, in fact, some of the masculine faced men may have scars, "boxer's nose", etc. given they have the rugged body to complement the face.

On the other hand, if you are young and somewhat lanky, it pays to have a cute face - pretty boy-type,which will get you laid. If you have a good body apart from that, then you are one lucky guy.


All this doesn't apply if the face is just damn too stupid or inbred looking, e.i. hillbilly type of face. In this case, the game is pretty much over regardless of how buff the body is.


I personally find the face more important because it's the part you will be dealing more with anyway. If the chick is cross-eyed-it hurts to look at her....so face does matter (the expression also)

The reason I asked this question is because I feel there's only so much you can do with your face. Your body, on the other hand, can be almost whatever you want if you make the effort.

I find that it is more valuable to look intimidating than to look hot. I have taken the girl away from many a "pretty boy" simply because I looked like I could beat up him and all of his friends at the same time.

I have a friend who I used to go out with all the time. He apparently is super hot, but not intimidating at all. We used to go out together and get carloads of chics because he would meet the girls first with his looks and I would be the muscle needed to keep the roid rage guys away.

Yeah, being big helps a lot there, you don't wanna be too big though, otherwise you might need a fitness trainer for a partner. But nothing beats aggression and testosterone. I am 6-4, 200 lbs, people take notice if I disagree with them.

Disagree. You need to have a proper look and style to emphasize what you have. Most people have no idea what they do have.....

Getting advice from women is pretty useless and misleading.

duffdog, I get it all the time that I am intimidating looking also. shaved head, tattoos. but what some guys do is that they have this look and then women find out the looks are decieving andthat he doesnt even fit this look and is a sissy.

if you talk to the right women you knows here stuff (not too many) they can be in public with you and confirm or even pick up on things other men or even sometimes women dont. women are always giving each other different looks and that is how you can tell.

It actually depends on what the girl wants. and regarding the woman, yes, a hot body trumps a pretty face any day.

I personally would take an ugly face girl with a hot body, but that's just me. A hot faced girl with nothing else is not appealing to me at all. It reminds me of volleyball chics in college --- ooooh I hated looking at them so much! They were all tall pasty blonde gangly looking wierdos with no t1ts or a55 at all.

I would probably say the body is more important for guys, because if you're bigger you've got that intimidation factor going, which relates to strength, dominance, and confidence, and that attracts women. Plus I know for a fact women are attracted to tall men.
